RavishingRickRudo Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 And Mole, why did someone draw an Elephant on that guys face?
Mole Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 And Mole, why did someone draw an Elephant on that guys face? I think it was supposed to be a penis.
BlackFlagg Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 This part in the premier is good Spoiler (Highlight to Read): When the first messes with Spike changing into all the big bads going backwards from season 6-1. Warren, Glory, Adam, Mayor, Dru<even though Angelus would really be considered the big bad of season 2> and The Master
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 Yeah, but it totally gave the wrong impression. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Premiere: Hey! The Big Bad can morph into all the past villains, this is going to be sooooo coooool! Season: Hey! The Big Bad is Buffy 90% of the time. FUCKING CHEAP!
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 Once again RRR comes back to misunderstand the point of season 7.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 IT'S BULLSHIT!!! THEY TOTALLY JIPPED US! FOR THE LOVE OF FUCKING JESUS FUCKING MOTHERFUCKING GOD!!!!!! It's like advertising an action movie having Arnold, Stallone, Van Damme, etc. and then having it just mainly Stephen f'ing Segal.
BlackFlagg Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 IT'S BULLSHIT!!! THEY TOTALLY JIPPED US! FOR THE LOVE OF FUCKING JESUS FUCKING MOTHERFUCKING GOD!!!!!! It's like advertising an action movie having Arnold, Stallone, Van Damme, etc. and then having it just mainly Stephen f'ing Segal. riiight.....calm down, have some dip. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Anyone who had seen season 3 would know that it was The First, a non-corporial entity and was doing nothing more than tormenting Spike with it's shape shifting like it did to Angel.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 I don't know if anyone noticed, but I was playing my NWA-Wildside game in EWR, and this came up in Dames' review. "Iceberg turns Phoenix inside-out with a clothesline. Reminds me of Willow's 'Bored Now' skin ripping finisher. Inside joke, don't worry about it." Just found that interesting since I saw the episode the other day.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! I WILL NOT! YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER! I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! I WILL DO WHAT I WANT! THEY SCREWED US LIKE CHEAP PRISON BITCHES!!!! BWWWAAAAAAAAAH~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!! Ooooh, dip. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): The only reason that the first morphed into all those 'big bads' was because the writers wanted to make an impression. It had little to do with Spike (why would it turn into Warren?). They were playing with *us*. Here they go telling us that the First can be anyone it wants to be, and then the First ends up being Buffy for the majority of the fuckin season. I don't care what that symbolizes, they still jipped us.
HarleyQuinn Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 I loved Spike's performance in Beneath You... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): especially the whole church scene, just great. Also loved how he "glimpsed" back to Awesome Season 4 Spike in the fight with Buffy in the Bronze. Wish it went a little bit longer though
Ravenbomb Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 Spoiler (Highlight to Read): so the morphy thing at the end was the First? I was wondering when they were gonna use the First again, 'The First Evil' is too...I guess big is the word...to be used in one thowaway-ish episode. Seemed kinda 'last boss in a video game' the way it morphed into all the previous big bads
Mole Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Ugh, I don't like having to use spoilers in this thread. It isn't the same.
