The One and Only WWE No Mercy 2003 Thread

No Way Out went through with a Steiner/HHH rematch even after the horrible reaction to the first bout.

It also regulated WWE Champion Kurt Angle to a mid-card handi-cap match. The Kurt Angle/Charlie Haas/Shelton Benjamin vs Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar match wasn't even a sub-main event.

Steve Austin squashed Eric Bischoff in a boring, too long match.

Jeff Hardy looked like shit against Jericho.

The main event was 13 minutes of Hulk Hogan vs The Rock, with yet another Montreal Screw-job finish.

Need I go on?

No Way Out was mainevented by two negative star matches.

They weren't THAT bad.

It was a huge improvement though.

Yeah, I was pissed about the match placement on the card, but it turned out to be the best match on the PPV.

Yes, that was lame.

Great opener though.

Of course, it wasn't going to be as good as WM X8. Although, having it as face Hogan/heel Rock was better than heel Hogan / face Rock.

Still though, No Way Out > Bad Blood.

Yeah, it was a big step up. The crowd shit all over it though. The "boring" and "Steiner sucks" chants were deafening.

If you look at the cover of No Way Out 2003, you will see six faces: The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, and Scott Steiner.

Out of those six men, who are still HEALTHY and ACTIVE wrestlers now?

Oooh, WWE.com just put up a pic of 'Taker/Brock on the front page!

And yesh, Scott Steiner is still relatively healthy and active on the main roster. The other five are gone/non-wrestlers.

That's Canada for ya. Although, it was hilarious seeing a face Steiner getting his ass booed out of the building.

"It was a huge improvement though."

Yeah, -* is a huge improvement over -***.

Well, it was better than Steiner giving HHH 50 fucking suplexes again.

She's also the Lillian Garcia of SD as she sings "America The Beautiful" before SD starts.
