I read over at 411 that A-Train slipped and dropped Benoit awkwardly.

He just has no luck with that move, does he....

EDIT: And reading comments here, I realized that I was right. It was totally unnecessary to make Lesnar/Taker a chain match. Because you guys were enjoying it right up until the chain was used.

Wow, the guy's at the LAW are tearing the show up. They said there was no crowd heat for Lesnar/Taker and the booking was bizarre. Although I didn't see the show, the booking seemed reasonable, except for Gowen going over.

Fuck those Angle cumeaters.

But he won in a match where he was expected to lose......?

People are weird.

They wanted Cena to win via screw job.

They weren't happy with Linda throwing in the towel and the match was overbooked.

Albert vs. Benoit was sloppy.

Taker vs. Brock was boring and overbooked. It might take them a while to jump on the Taker bandwagon.

They liked Rey and Tajiri.

Dan calls the Yakuza, the "Yazuka".

what about you RRR...did you dig Taker eating Ultimo?

I dig Undertauro - I didn't see the PPV cause well, I prefer Minotauro ;) so I just buy Pride and UFC. I really liked Taker vs. Brock NM 02, and didn't figure this would be that good because of the chain (I don't buy Chain shots - they don't make a noise like a chair)... but they barely used it.

I was diggin Taker back in 01 when he was doing all of his high-end armwork, but then he turned heel and that went out the door.

I can't believe all the love this PPV is getting. I enjoyed all of 2 matches on the card, Rey/Tajiri and Angle/Cena. Everything else was shit, I mean the heavily hyped Vince/Steph match didn't even go by the I Quit rules, and it ends with a towel being thrown in? What in the hell? And since when can you add pinfalls and submissions to I Quit matches?

The PPV was pretty good overall. I enjoyed Rey/Tajiri, Angle/Cena, Brock/Taker and of course Benoit/A-Train. Benoit continues to make me proud to be Canadian. I still can't believe the amount of punishment he took here. Big Show vs Eddie was descent as was Bashams vs the APA. Vince vs Steph wasn't anything to write home about though. The one thing that I found amazing about this match was that were actually people oohing and aahing at the viciousness of the moves here. I kid you not.

I think it was suppose to be a "If you lose you quit your bussiness position" but worded with "I Quit"...of course I've been pretty much boycotting the whole product due to not wanting to watch McMahonamania and All the shit being pushed while the actual wrestlers are thrown under that proverbial glass ceiling, so I could be wrong

I... was watching a different show I guess. I won't say everything blew, but I'm not going to let (VERY) low expectations fool me into thinking it was better than it was. MOTN was Angle/Cena, but that was around ***1/2 probably. I was just really really bored the whole time, and the Angle/Cena match was the only time I really paid attention, with the exception of the endings of the main and the McMahon match.

Believe it or not, avoiding the internet for the most part for the last couple of weeks made me less forgiving, as all I could do all night was rack my brain as to why they were bothering with little things like the extra stipulations on an I Quit match, why they made the chain so damned high that only Undertaker could reach it if he stretched, and why on earth the FBI had to do a run-in. Didn't their issue with Undertaker go out the window the moment Nathan Jones disappeared?

And do you really have to ask after every Smackdown PPV match or Smackdown-only PPV "who thinks Raw is still better?" Do you like being constantly told you're right or something? From a workrate perspective, Smackdown does rock Raw and rock it well, but I'll still watch Raw every week and only possibly watch Smackdown. Athleticism can only overcome so much garbage in their storylines. Pay Per Views are only three hours a month out of eleven total Smackdown puts out every month. 3/11 does not redeem the other 8/11.

(looks forward to Goldberg/Michaels tomorrow night)

there was no issue...Vince likely ordered them out to distract Undertaker while he surprised TAKER.

Well, well, well... sounds like the PPV did surprise most people, just like I predicted it would. I give myself **** for posting! (j/k).

Sounds like this show will be more than worth my 13 bucks as a Best Buy employee :D
