Survivor Series Matches

I did this once over the summer when I was having trouble thinking. Basically, pretend that the WWE is using the old Survivor Series format and create three, 4x4 matches that make sense with storylines (with corny team names of course). It's harder then it seems. Here's my attempt:

 

HHH, Orton, Batista & Flair (Evolution) vs. Goldberg, Maven, Cade & Jindrak (New Blood)

 

Jericho, Christian, & La Resistance (Canadian Stampede) vs. Booker T, Storm & the Dudleys (Patriots)

 

Kane, Steiner, Henry & Richards (Big Red Machine) vs. Shane, RVD, Hurricane & Rosey (Superpowers)

 

 

Lesnar, Big Show, Hass & Benjamin (The Best Damn Team) vs. Undertaker, Eddy, Chavo & Hardcore Holly (Deadmen)

 

Wild Card Match: Kurt Angle, John Cena, Scotty 2 Hotty & Rikishi (Heros) vs. Chris Beniot, Albert, & The Bashams (Wolverines)

 

Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, Paul London & Spanky (Mysterio's Muchachos) vs. Matt Hardy, Tajiri, Noble & Nunzio (MF'ers)

 

 

I couldn't find room for Kidman, Spike, Goldust, Moore, Kanyon, Jordan, Palumbo, Stamboli, Gowen, and Michaels, just to name a few.

Actually, when they had the Wildcard match in 95, it was the second biggest match on the show. Michaels, Ramon, Owen, Ahmed, Bulldog, Yoko, Douglas and Sid were involved, and all, except maybe Shane, were nowhere near the jobber level.

I call being tossed into a match chockful of lower card guys and yes, jobbers, for no rhyme or reason (Wild card) jobber hell.

 

I'm not saying it makes Angle a jobber or anything like that.

I quite can't see Kurt Angle pairing with Cena right after they just feuded. Plus, Rey Mysterio wouldn't be on a team with a guy who basically tried to KILL him at Backlash. Kurt and Cena should both be treated better, and each Survivor match should be within the context of the division.

And Anglesault, I was gonna put Angle & Cena instead of Benoit & A-Train in the Taker match but I decided the wild Card match more star power.
