starvenger Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 If you haven't, it's ESPN2's new morning show. And it's very, very bad. Not as bad as Gallagher on TSN, but pretty darn close. Apparently Kit is wild and wacky, but I haven't seen any of that. Haven't seen much of Thea Andrews (the TV reporter from Playmakers) either, and that would be my main motivation for watching. Watch it now before they give this thing a mercy killing!!
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 I made it through about 5 minutes of it before I got bored and turned it off. But is anyone really surprised that it sucks?
starvenger Posted October 23, 2003 Author Report Posted October 23, 2003 Not really. But I needed something to watch since they replaced Best of Power Rangers with Daigunder. And I still need something to watch...
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Buffy the Vampire Slayer reruns on FX?
razazteca Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 How bad is it? Worst than Good Day with the 2 stupid blonds and the mid-age guy?
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 I flipped past it and they were behind the scenes of "Radio". Yikes. But if it really is priceless, maybe I'll catch it tommorow before it gets cancelled.
Star Ocean 3 Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 A live show like this isn't the best idea since it caters to the east coast so much, not that that's surprising with ESPN. But Kit is wild and unpredictable!
Slayer Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 But Kit is wild and unpredictable! If by "wild and unpredictable" they mean 'corporate conformist" then yes, she is
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 (edited) Is it a sports show, or does it focus on some news as well? No way I'm watching this crap... Edited October 23, 2003 by kkktookmybabyaway
Youth N Asia Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 It's not a good show...but I've always thought Kit was cute.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 I just want to know why the chick from the first season of Road Rules is still getting TV gigs
Chazz Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 Yeah, It Is pretty poor. I mean 1 hour of this stuff would be bad enough, but why ESPN decided to give this garbage a 2 Hour timeslot Is beyond me. Cold Pizza will be just plain Cold by the time November Sweeps rolls around. Thea Andrews Is Hot, though, and the best thing about the show. If they have her running around In a Bikini every day, I'd never miss an episode!
ISportsFan Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 Not only does it get a two hour timeslot, was I right when I read somewhere that it also gets the two hour timeslot right after it too with a rerun? So it gets 4 hours? Jason
Bored Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 I haven't seen it yet but I knew when I first heard about it and saw those god awful commercials that it was just another sign of ESPN going downhill. Too bad I was hoping it'd be so horrible that it'd be funny to watch but from the sounds of these posts it just sounds bad and boring which is never a good combo. I give it two months tops before its canceled
Chuck Woolery Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 I watch it every morning. I caught Lou Piniella this morning, and good god he was stuttering so bad I thought he'd just done some X.
Vern Gagne Posted October 24, 2003 Report Posted October 24, 2003 ESPN2 needs to bring back the Fitness Beach shows in the morning.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 I would think it would beat the 10+ reruns of Sportscenter over on ESPN in the morning but..no. I could watch Sportscenter reruns all morning but CP didn't even last 10 minutes with me.
King Kamala Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 It's only the first week but still I have to say that watching Al Gore file out his income taxes is more exciting than this piece of shit. The anchors have no chemistry and they have possibly the worst guests on their.
Steve J. Rogers Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 BTW so far the show has had New York City's WEPN 1050 ESPN radio's Gordon Damner and Tom Keegan on the show (Keegan will be on Monday morning) so that radio station is obviously pumping it up a bit. They haven't mentioned the "quality" of the program though... Steve
