A Happy Medium 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 The Sixers won tonight. Duncan fucked up his ankle, and there's like a young dude from Haiti who is a good shot blocker. Hope he's a free agent in my league.

razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 The mission for the Spurs tonight is to keep Allen Iverson to 20 points and keep him off the FT line. Better luck next time... Maybe when and if Mercer returns or if Rasho decides to make the easy shot after the rebound. Positive Spin: The Spurs did score more than 80 points in the game and the team now has 3 scoring threats in the starting guards and Duncan.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted November 15, 2003 Thank GOD, T-Mac has gotten out of his slump.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 T-Mac had 50 points in a losing effort. But the best play was the Earl Boykins block of Lue or the pump fake on the forward for a foul.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 Clippers win their third in a row a 104-98 victory over the Warriors Chris Wilcox had 21 points and 9 rebounds, doing an amazing job replacing Elton Brand. Hopefully McGrady will be tired after today's game, so he can have an off night when the Magic play the Clippers tomorrow.

Tony149 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 Spurs lost because Rasho or Rose could not buy a shot. Ever since Rose got that huge contract 2 years ago he's started the season slow. I fully expect him to pick it up soon. I do wish him and the Spurs could be faster starters but I'll take 'em getting hot after the All-Star break then getting hot now then getting cold when it counts. Rasho was rushing himself too much, especially when he got that rebound and missed a few lay ups. Believe it or not, I think he's trying too hard (to replace David Robinson). He did very well in the Lakers and Memphis game (before Duncan got hurt). At least his defense is getting better.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted November 15, 2003 Scottie Pippen gets alot of calls in his favor. He slides about and gets away with blocking(they call a charge on the other person while Pippen's feet are still moving) and he's flopping about now. I'm wondering if he went to Reggie Miller's Summer BasketBall Camp this year Hey now...don't be talkin' about Reggie. Anyway, why exactly did Pippen go to Chicago? Did he buy into the hype that the Bulls were going to be good this year? Or does he just want to finish his career in Chicago? If I were his age, I'd do the Malone-Payton-Horry thing and sign with the best team possible for a smaller contract. On that note, why did Stephen Jackson sign with Atlanta? I couldl understand if they broke him off financially, but he's only making like $2 million a year. I'm sure there were better teams that wanted him for a similar price. alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 Jermaine O'Neal was fined $5,000 for criticizing officials following the loss to Boston. Come on now, Jermaine...you're not Shaq or Phil Jackson, YOU can't get away with it that easy...
The Fett 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 It is amazing how tough the Western Conference is this season. There's only ONE team in the entire Western Conference with a losing record (Phoenix Suns). Denver, Memphis, LAC, Utah, and the Warriors have all been playing good. Meanwhile, in the Eastern Conference TEN teams currently have losing records. Could it be any more obvious how lopsided the conferences are?

Tony149 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 On that note, why did Stephen Jackson sign with Atlanta? I couldl understand if they broke him off financially, but he's only making like $2 million a year. I'm sure there were better teams that wanted him for a similar price. From what I've read there were only 2 teams Pip was intersted in -- the Bulls and the Spurs. The Bulls because he'd get a front office job with buddy John Paxton after he retires; the Spurs because they have a legit shot at winning -- or in their case repeating -- as NBA champions. Supposedly Pipen was thisclose to signing with the Spurs but the deal broked down after he wanted a 3 year deal -- the Spurs were only offering a 1 year contract. So he returned to da Bulls. Stephen Jackson's agent fucked him bad. The Spurs were offering $10 million but he declined. Pop believes Jackson's agent was playing games. Now "Action" Jackson is making less money and playing for a team with no shot at all.
Guest Polish_Rifle Report post Posted November 15, 2003 The Clips are looking good. I don't want to jinx anything so that is all I'm going to say. I'll be at the game tonight, so hopefully T-Mac and teh Magic continue their slump.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 The good thing out of the Stephen Jackson mess is that Manu Ginobili has become an All Star. Jackson was a defensive player who could score, its something that Spurs are in great need now.

Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2003 YES !!!!! Clippers win their fourth in a row. 95-92 over the Magic Q had 31 points and Kaman did a good job for us for the first time this year.

The Fett 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Two major trade are about to go down according to radio stations in Toronto 1st trade: Toronto trades Alvin Williams, Jerome Williams, Mo. Peterson Chicago trades Jalen Rose and possibly Fizer/Marshall 2nd trade: Dallas trades Antawn Jamison and Tony Delk Toronto trades Antonio Davis Toronto make out like bandits
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Dallas trading Jamison is absolutely stupid. He's young, cheap, talented...I wonder if Mark Cuban has some sort of Brewster's Millions thing going on "Mark, in order to attain my $100 Billion inheritance you must get the most expensive offensive players in the NBA and not win a single championship with them."
Bored 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 No it was stupid to trade for Antwan Walker thus leaving Jamison without a starting spot. Jamison is hardly cheap as he had signed the league maximum deal with the Warriors a couple of years ago. How ironic for Jamison to end up with the team that drafted him to be a teammate once again with the player he was traded for, Vince Carter. The Mavericks despeterately need a tough guy in the middle who doesn't need to score and Antonio Davis isn't a bad pick up, if the trade happens.
