neither is Vin Baker, but if I have to have a max contract on the Celts I'd rather it be from somebody who isn't drunk and can play.

I'd prefer the contract be terminated though all together

The Kings activated Webber yesterday, he now has to serve an eight-game suspension...three for his charges and five for violating the substance abuse policy.

Going by this, his return date should be March 2 against the Clippers.

I predict the Kings will defeat my Celtics by 35 points tonight, we are just that bad. With all this Rasheed Wallace trade talk, I think a trade to Philadelphia would be a pretty good idea. Trade Wallace to Philly for Kyle Korver and Samuel Dalembert. Hell you could convert the Wachovia Center to a Pennslyvania state penitentary.

I'm betting Utah gets Van Horn next. They need some names on that team (Despite hovering around .500) and the two stars on their team are both white AND Keith Van Horn went to Utah.

AK-47 and Carlos Arroyo aren't "White", Sir...

Also, what would being "White" have anything to do with it ?

And yes, I can see Keith Van Horn in a Boston Celtics Uniform.

AK's Russian. How is he not white?

I doubt the Sixers would trade Dalembert. He's that rare combination of good and cheap. I could see trading Korver though. He's damned good at shooting the three, but I don't know if his all-around skills would let him start.

Ha. Webber's gonna miss Thursday's game at Minnesota.

All kidding aside, that should be a great game. IMO...the two best teams in the NBA right know. The last 4 meetings have gone into OT. I expect an up tempo, high scoring thriller.

The final score: Celts 111, the Kings 127. But yes, it would have been 35 if Miller and Webber were active.

Honestly, the Wolves should be able to blow the Kings off the floor, they have too frankly, if they get beaten by a weakened Kings team, it'd be just like the Kings getting beat by a weakened Lakers team or something. They have to humiliate the Kings IMO.

All I wanna see is a solid win. Keep in mind this is Wally's first game so the Wolves will have to make adjustments. They may not be in sync like they usually are.

Ricky Davis only scores tons of points in garbage blow out losses. I'd so much rather have Eric Williams and Tony Battie, a few solid role players could help the team a lot more then Ricky.

I heard the only way the Hawks are trading Rasheed before the deadline is to get cheap, young guys.

Allen Iverson is trying to get Chris Ford fired now since Ford benched him to start yesterday's game due to Iverson skipping practice.

If I were Philly I'd trade Iverson, he may be one of the top 10 players in the game but you can't build a team around him (If that makes any sense).

Back to Rasheed Wallace, If I were Danny Ainge and I wanted to make the playoffs as an eight seed I'd seriously CONSIDER trading for Wallace.

I understand what you mean about Iverson, but I don't think Philly will ever let him go. He's very over there, and the locals propably would be majorly pissed and stop going to Sixers games.

Ainge shouldn't go for Wallace. This season is just about down the tubes for the Celtics and should worry about a quick fix. How awesome would it be for the Celtics/Lakers rivalry if Kobe (if he's still available to play next season) wound up in Boston?

He's not just over. He's INSANELY popular, both in Philly and around the country. I think the Sixers are among the top teams in road attendance. If Iverson goes, the Sixers better have a damned good trade set up.

The reality is Iverson is almost impossible to trade. You have to find a player with a similiar contract. Kobe Bryant's been mentioned but he still has the legal problems, and honestly I think he resigns with the Lakers.

Bleh.

"We talking about practice... Practice, man, practice" :P

Also...

Prediction:

Rasheed Wallace gets traded to Detroit, gets them through the next 3 months of the season and into the race for a championship, now fast forward to next season where he shall be playing in Madison Square Garden as a New York Knick.

He'll probably end up in Detroit anyway.

Should the Knicks pick him up, they'll probably package him and ship him off to Detroit in the deal for Sheed.

Sheed wants to go to New York, they want Sheed in New York.

Besides being a dog and a cancer. Rasheed isn't nearly the player he used to be. He's only avearging 7 rebounds a game. If I'm a Knicks fan, I hope my team doesn't spend too much on this guy.

If the Sixers traded Iverson for Kobe, there would be riots.

Saw on ESPN news that Ron Artest will have thumb surgery and he looks to be out...."indefinately". That is of course, pretty much a nice way of saying "Oh fuck."
