does anyone think guerrero will actually do it?

in ring work is the best in north america, good talker and great at crowd interaction as well. we all know how over he is, but he needs to drop the mexican stereotype gimic. he will never be credible with it. do you think vince will do anything about it? can he win the title? (he just lost both his titles... hmm)

its a shame. he really is over. all he has to do is get a more serious gimic. his fued with his nephew may be the catalyst for it. he did lose both of his titles and all....

Big Deal he lost both titles. Maybe he's getting punished for being unproffesional at a house show (even though the fan disserved it).

BTW, the Big Gold Belt is around Goldberg's waist on RAW, so I think you meant the Real WWE World title. LOL

thats true. this is so frustrating. you dont have to be big to be able to kick someones ass. everyone else knows this. what the hell is wrong with vince.

Yes. Surely, even Vince isn't stupid enough not to give it to him. Even Jericho got a title run, and he's hated by management.

exactly. all guerrero needs to do is drop the gimic for a more serious one and he's ready. if vince keeps waiting though it will be too late.

Sadly, that's probably the exact reason Vince is waiting.

I think there's a decent chance he'll get at least a token run with the belt sooner or later. I don't see him beating Lesnar for the belt though.

i agree, but i think the only way vince would allow it is if brock gave it to eddie. we all know brock isn't too bright, and we also know how clever eddy is. its the only way without eddy looking tougher than brock. we all know vince would never allow that.

Considering the fact that they did NOTHING with Benoit after the reactions he was getting around the Rumble, I doubt it.

They're in the process of burying Guerrero right now. He was supposed to lose the U.S. Title to feud with Lesnar but now that's not happening. Then he lost the tag titles to the fucking Bashams, where there's no reason he should've lost it or to this particular team.

the bashams are transitional champs. trust me. i think that maybe this fued with chavo might serve as the catalyst for a gimic change. because after he beats his nephews ass he will seem more serious and domineering.

I try to remain hopeful, but sadly I do not think Eddie's chances are that good. I think he'll get a title shot but will lose.

I could see him winning it.....in an alternate universe. It ain't gonna happen, EVER. Vince won't put the belt on him for the same reason he won't put it on Benoit, they're "too small." Plus, HHH won't allow it. Eddie might get over.

Bit too late, he's already way way over.

He will at least get a shot on PPV... hopefully he'll get a title run, I personally think that World Champions should be able to cary almost everyone in the company to at least decent matches, and at the moment Guerrero can definatly do that.

I agree about Eddie carrying people to at least decent matchs. IMO he carried Big Show to his most enjoyable match since Armageddon last year against Angle.

I would love for Eddie to get the title, in a perfect world that would happen and we would be treated to main events like Eddie vs Angle, Eddie vs Benoit, Eddie vs Lesnar. But i think at the moment, with the way the booking is its all just a dream.

The only way the Eddy G. will see the belt would be if most of the Main Event talent on SD was injured. Now I know that sounds terrible, but I just have no faith into Vince putting the title on him. Plus, if they do it will definately be a weak run.

I believe Eddy is definitely getting a World Title shot/reign soon, because they can't keep trading the belt between Angle and Lesnar (which hasn't really done anything for the ratings). They'll separate Los Guerreros to make Chavo stand out and Eddy finally reach the big time, and then Eddy will get the push to the top. If they want to tap into the Latino market (which can be beneficial), then Eddy is definitely their man to push (based on how incredibly over he's been).

Vince thinking.

1. Eddie is getting a good reaction even though we haven't pushed him as hard or booked him as strong as many other wrestlers.

2. Eddie is smaller than most of our wrestlers, but he is certainly more skilled.

3. Despite personal problems in the past, Eddie has cleaned himself up and been professional.

4. Eddie has great promo skills and ring skills.

5. Eddie appeals to the very large Latino demographic, and could potentially tap into that market.

So the only logical Vince K. McMahon conclusion is:

JOB EDDIE TO NATHAN JONES!

If Benoit wins the title like some think I could see Benoit vs. Eddy at this years Rumble.

That would be a dream come true.

However, like most other dreams in my life... .they die.

He has a big chance to grab this momentum and hang on for a great ride at the top. The Smackdown side is VERY limited as far as big names go, and he is constantly being one of the focal points each week.

If I had to guess, I'd say he'll stay a contender (serious) for about a year, but never be able to get it. He'll probably get the Benoit 2000 treatment.

Shame though, he needs it.
