Some Guy sent word that on the UK version of Smackdown, any segments of the show that feature Zach Gowen have been edited out. He wrote Sky TV and was told that Zach’s parts of the program are not being aired due to the fact that television regulatory board, the ITC, is looking into whether Gowen footage can be shown on British TV. Until the matter is resolved, Gowen will be edited off of TV.

 

While the email didn’t mention the reason why, it would seem that violent acts against a handicapped person would be the impetus for Zach’s footage not being shown.

Seriously, I think all censors are stupid. They really don't edit out what SHOULD be, but edit out what needs NOT be edited.

I feel pretty sorry for him, he's had a pretty rough life. But that doesn't factor in wrestling. He should be getting no more exposure than any of the other Velocity jobbers, though. You can't expect him to be pushed to the upper-midcard as soon as he arrives. The fans are already turning on him, so if they want him to get more than just a small mixed reaction of cheers and boo's, he'll have to gain their (the fans) respect in the RING. Lord knows he already has my respect outside of the ring.

Well he was involved in the big angle with Hogan/McMahon/Piper and was used to help sell Vengeance with his McMahon match. But since then? He hasn't really had an angle...other than a chew toy for Brock.
