Guest Jamal Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Episode 710: Grey Dawn After South Park's senior citizens have mowed down more than a few farmers' markets, the residents no longer feel it's safe to be out in the streets. With their well being at stake, the boys decide to take action against the older generation. Unwilling to surrender their driver's licenses, the elderly fight back.
Renegade Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 The episode was pretty lame, not half as good as the previous two.
Nevermortal Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Randy Marsh was fuckin' great in this one.
razazteca Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Was there a Red Dawn parody in the episode?
Corey_Lazarus Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Yep. Once the AARP entered the fray, it was one huge Red Dawn parody. Which is incredibly fantastic, because Red Dawn rules ass.
MrRant Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 I mark for Red Dawn and other movies like it. I await the Toy Soldiers parody.
razazteca Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 The Old Country Buffet thing is so true, my aunt and uncle live for buffets and early bird specials.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 I found the episode very humorous myself. Thus far this season has been great
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Good show, but it felt a bit rushed. My only complaint is that if you're going to point out that old people can't drive, then you also need to mention that most accidents that take place are done by the young'ins...
Nevermortal Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 So what's the moral of this story? Anyone who starts the South Park thread gets banned?
Ravenbomb Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 The episode was decent, but Cartman's fantasy covert op of blowing up Old Country Kitchen or whatever it was called is one of the best things I've seen all week. "Cleverly disguised as...black people" Blowing up Kyle, all of it was just great
Guest FrigidSoul Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Mayhaps this episode had more merit than most believe An elderly woman ran a red light in Shadyside, crashed her car into a Pittsburgh firetruck and then backed into a firefighter who got off the truck to help, city police said Wednesday. Firefighter Margaret "Peggy" Vath, 48, of Morningside, a 14-year veteran assigned to Engine 11, remained hospitalized in guarded condition last night with a broken pelvis after the Honda Accord crushed her against a telephone pole. "It was pretty crazy, from what I understand," said Dan Hennessy, a deputy fire chief. "We called in a different crew to handle that station because they were too shook up to continue working through the day." The 83-year-old driver of the Honda, whom police did not identify, was taken to West Penn Hospital in Bloomfield after she complained of chest pains.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 I'd rather have a blue-haired women in front of me going 30 mph slower than my car than a teenager going 30 mph faster than my car behind me...
Guest El Satanico Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 the teen behind you is more likely to wreck himself into a tree, while the blue hair is more likely to blow a stop sign and t-bone you. Moral of the story...it's better to have the more dangerous to himself than others teen on the road. I blame bingo and buffets that increase their prices at 5.
Art Sandusky Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 So what's the moral of this story? Anyone who starts the South Park thread gets banned? No, the moral is to stop trying to come back to this board if you're Eagan.
Renegade Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 So what's the moral of this story? Anyone who starts the South Park thread gets banned? No, the moral is to stop trying to come back to this board if you're Eagan. He's not being subtle about it either.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 the teen behind you is more likely to wreck himself into a tree, while the blue hair is more likely to blow a stop sign and t-bone you. Tell that to my one buddy that had a Thug Gangsta from the 'burbs slam into him from behind with his SUV. Give me granny anyday...
Cran Da Maniac Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 I'm not Eagen, can I do SP threads? Yeah, but the minute you turn into Eagen, you will be banned
Ravenbomb Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 that's easy, I'll just not turn into Eagan. I might turn into The Brain, though
Ravenbomb Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 This thread needs more pictures Careful, Yuna might come in here with pictures of Stan fucking Kyle
razazteca Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Mr. Hat and Mr. Slave pics would be more like it.
Ravenbomb Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Mr. Hat would be one strange butch *Avoids fisting jokes in relation to Mr. Hat*
Guest FrigidSoul Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Mr. Slave should have only been around for the episode that premiered him.
Nevermortal Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Mr. Slave should have only been around for the episode that premiered him. Mr. Slave is the best new character since Timmy.
