Tawren 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 2002 will probably be way better. A solid ***1/2 or so 3 way tag match, plus a decent EC and solid cruiserweight match > Buried Alive + Ambulance match + Vince + Shane.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 Last year looks better on paper and there was so many "classic" moments from last year. RVD landing on Triple H's throat. Hell freezing over when Big Show beat Brock for the title. Which is the first time Brock F5'd Show I believe. HBK's mercy title win. Rico's "C'mon Jeff God damnit!" Angle and Benoit being eliminated first in their match and the crowd booing Edge. Good times
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 Oh, forgot to mention... Last year was also the Return of Scott Steiner...when he beat up both Matt Hardy and Christopher Nowinski.

Jebus 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 For me this year's will be better simply because of the return of Survivor Series elimination matches! I'm sure I'll enjoy them a lot and if it were up to me the whole card would be elimination matches again.

Guest Megatron Report post Posted November 11, 2003 While 2001 was better on paper, I think it was a major letdown overall. Brock and Booker both should have won. The 3-way tag match was pretty good though. I think that this year's show will be more entertaining. At least, I HOPE it will be.

Just making sure, you meant 2002, right? 2001 was the main with Team WWF vs. Team Alliance.
Guest Megatron Report post Posted November 11, 2003 If they had more Women, I could have seen them having a Women's Survivor Series match. In 1993 (I think), they only had 2 women in the division and they brought in all those Japanese chicks and they had one hell of a spot-fest. Chaparita Asari (sp?) was really good. As was Lioness Asuka and Aja Kong.

Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 On paper, 2001 probably looks the better of the two. If the Survivor Series elimination tags turn out real good this years could end up better than last years, though i'm not counting on it.
Guest Megatron Report post Posted November 11, 2003 Shortly after that, Alundra Blayze left WWF and threw the Women's Title in the trash on Nitro. Yeah, I know that. My point was that it would have been cool if they had done the same thing this year. Have Trish and Victoria go out and find the best Japanese ladies they could find and go at it. They could have done 4 vs. 4 Lita, Trish, Ivory, Jackie vs. Molly, Kim, Victoria, Jazz I think while Jazz is still injured she has done some house shows to get back in the "groove" if you weeelll...and she could have been eliminated quickly! About this year though, I'm pissed some BIG names are missing it (namely Rey and Eddy)...TWO McMahon matches is just...why?

Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 11, 2003 This year's card on Paper owns last years. Tajiri/Knoble will be a better CW match then Kidman/Knoble was... Two Survivor Series Matches will give a nostalgia feel... The booking for The Buried Alive Match should be fun... Chavo/Eddy is all but likely or least a Tag Title Rematch with the Bashams... Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 11, 2003 Chavo/Eddy is all but likely or least a Tag Title Rematch with the Bashams... Isn't that supposed to happen on SD! this week? They booked a Tag Title Match but that doesn't mean we won't have a rematch but it's more likely Chavo does the Owen turn and they sign a match for Series. MooreMark 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 If they had balanced the women out correctly on the shows then we could have seen Nidia/Trish/Lita/Ivory/Alexis Laree(shes been seen on smackdown atleast...) Vs Molly/Gail/Victoria/Jazz/Shaniqua(is she as bad as Gayda? if so first elimination here.)

Papacita 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 When was the last good Survivor Series? 1996? I liked last year's a lot, and although the tournament was pretty boring, I'd say the angle development at the 98 SS made that show passable.

I liked last year's a lot, and although the tournament was pretty boring, I'd say the angle development at the 98 SS made that show passable. '98 was fucking god awful. IMO, it is one of the most uneventful and boring wrestling shows I've ever seen. Not that anything on it was negative five stars or anything, it just bored the living piss out of me. I really liked last years show to be honest. The novelty of the E.C won me over, as did HBK winning the World Title. Steiner looked good, albeit for only one night, and everyone else put on a decent performance. Where exactly in the opener does Rico say 'C'mon Jeff! God damn it!'?? I hadn't even noticed this. The Metal Maniac 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 When Rico's climbing the buckles for a moonsault. Jeff is supposed to knock Rico off, but he's in TOTALLY the wrong place, so Rico t-a-k-e-s-h-i-s-t-i-m-e climbing up, yells at Jeff to hurry up, and if I'm not mistaken, he even begins to sell like he's losing his balance to kill time. A side note - STEINER'S BEEN IN THE FED FOR A FUCKING YEAR?
