Just because a certain wrestler is on TV one week and the show gets a high rating doesn't mean they are a draw, necessarily. NYU 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2003 Well, to be fair, it wasn't like weeks ago. More like months ago because, if I remember right, the match took place in around May. That was when Goldberg was still fresh and new in WWE and, let's face it - when buyrates needed to be generated for his return match at Backlash against Rock, he pretty much failed miserably. Goldberg gets fan support, there's no denying that - but it's silly to say he's a draw now and bring up a match from six months ago, which had the fact that it was a cage match possibly boosting the ratings for it. There are times when certain parts of the show are rated higher than the overrun. But, for the most part, the people in the overrun get the highest ratings of the night, regardless of who they are.
