TheFranchise Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 After getting some mic time on RAW the past couple of weeks, Dave Batista is high on McMahon's favorite list. Many feel that Batista will get pushed to the top along with Randy Orton, and maybe even ahead of Orton. There is still significant talk of Orton feuding with HHH at some point, especially after defeating HBK at the last RAW PPV, but as far as the immediate future goes, the WWE's plans for Orton are unclear. Orton's push may be over before it really got going.. credit: RajahWWF.com
Lil' Bitch Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Nah, HHH will make sure it continues.
TheFranchise Posted November 12, 2003 Author Report Posted November 12, 2003 Oh my... god. WMXX: World Title Triple H vs Batista Vs Randy Orton (Champion) Oh... no.
Just call me Dan Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Either way, I'd like to see them dominate the small tag division for a while and get crisper in the ring. I think they could put on great matches tagging.
Guest Choken One Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Batisia has a bigger upswing then suckbag does.
haVoc Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Either way, I'd like to see them dominate the small tag division for a while and get crisper in the ring. I think they could put on great matches tagging. Don't you remember the last time they we're in a tag match?
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 I'd rather have fucking Orton then Mr. Hossariffic.
razazteca Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Dave's grunts is better than Randy's cocky taunts Dave's tatoos look better Dave's lariat is better than Randy's dropkick Mr. Hossariffic knows his role Randy still thinks he is in a college frat
Guest StevieNightHeat Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Looks like Batista will be main eventing, while Orton goes back to being a mid-card wrestler.
Guest NCJ Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 I think both of them will be pushed hard after the breakup of Evolution. I agree Batista and Randy should be a tag team. Eventually I think they can both be worthy of a main event spot, but why Orton is getting pushed over Booker, Jericho, and RVD is beyound me. Atleast Batista is a hoss. He fits into the WWE profile of a main eventer.(yes I know it is a bad profile, but that is what they do.) Randy dosen't seem any better than any of the other smaller OVW guys who were brought up, and he is actually worse than a couple.
Toxxic Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Both suck in the ring. But while Batista's finisher sucks (Oh no! Not the OVW BOMB~!), he at least does it well. Orton's RKO is as sloppy as fuck. And hearing Batista's mic work of late, I have to say I'm impressed. He sounds very natural, miles better than Orton and much more listenable than the...ever...droning...Triple...H. I swear, sometimes I wonder if Trips is having a contest with himself to see if he can have a longer pause between his words than between doing a Pedigree and pinning whoever he's burying this time.
Mecha Mummy Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 The funny thing is that Batista's promo from a couple weeks back was better than every non-RRN promo Orton's ever done. At the very least Batista has OVW marks insisting that he was good in the ring there or whatever.
Guest Choken One Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Everyone claims (except for the likes of Jones and the such) that they were good in OVW.
Guest ligerbomb03 Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 I couldn't care less about either of them.
Guest Choken One Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 At least Batistia above all the other hosses shown he can handle a mic.
Ultra Violence Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Either way, I'd like to see them dominate the small tag division for a while and get crisper in the ring. I think they could put on great matches tagging. What is this tag division you speak of? Anyway I am actually for a Batistia push, he looks like a main eventer, When I saw his promo a couple of weeks ago I was impressed and if he gets pushed to the top instead of Orton I don't see a problem. His in-ring skills are not too bad for someone his size and he can always develop a more impressive finisher, the guy is still young. The only worry I have is his injury-proneness but if it doesn't effect how he is in the ring, having him off TV every couple of months will make him seem more fresh, *waits for Anglesault among others to burn him at the stake until slightly brown, piss on him to put him out, then crucify him upsidedown*
cabbageboy Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Orton getting a serious push right now is idiotic. Not only can he not remotely deliver the goods on the mic or in the ring consistently, the way he's been booked lately hasn't been strong. I mean he has basically been jobber bait for Goldberg over the past couple of months, got a screwy win over Shawn, and then jobbed to Shawn on Raw this week. I fail to see how any of this = main event. Batista at least has a look like "I'll rip your fucking head off." That said I don't think many OVW fans insist he was a better wrestler by far in OVW, but just that he had an infinitely cooler gimmick. Leviathan, Monster of the Ohio River....conjured up by Synn (bleh) as a demon who rose from the water.
Guest Choken One Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 I still don't understand JUST what exactly has Batistia done with the money just yet... He hasn't started dressing any different or even acknowledged SPENDING the money or anything. Unless they are going for that whole "He didn't give a DAMN about the money, he just wanted to take Goldberg out" type sell.

Guest Megatron Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 I'd rather see Batista as Champ than Orton any day of the week. Orton can suck Jeff Hardy's dick and die.
Jack_Bauer Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 You may not like this, but I love Batista now for some reason. I guess he isn't as boring as he used to be. I guess Dave O'Neill deserves an apology. I guess he's good after all.
Guest Choken One Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Batistia finally has some sort of character other then being a Big "Evil" looking Henchman. He holds his own with the mic against Austin and actually stands out in a positive way as opposed to suckbag whose greatest contribution is his Blue Powder Suit.

He looks like an Intelligent person (then again Standing next to Orton would make Anyone look intelligent)
Guest Besus Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Orton is good on the Mic.Stop dissing his Mic Skills but He do suck in the ring though.
Guest Megatron Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Orton is good on the Mic.Stop dissing his Mic Skills but He do suck in the ring though. Come on! He acts like he's reading a teleprompter and still screws up simple words. See this past Monday's RAW for an example of that.
Guest Choken One Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Batistia showed he had more ease with the mic. FUCK! I mean Orton's character is pretty much him "Cocky arrgoant prick" and yet he couldn't even pull that off without suttering and botching his line. Batistia seemed to um...I dunno...REMEMBER his lines and delivered it with a flow instead of Mr. Say one word then stop and blink 100 times then smile then botch the next word Orton here.
