Tawren Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 The style of match will be chosen the night of the show in the first ever LOTTERY FROM HELL. OMG COAL MINERS GLOVE II~!
tpww7 Posted November 16, 2003 Author Report Posted November 16, 2003 Anyone care to give me info on Josh Daniels?
bob_barron Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 That'd be hilarious. I think it should be an I Quit match
Tim Cooke Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 I Quit or Texas Death Match would be my choices. Last Man Standing, Clockwork Orange, or something to that extent would not make me happy. Tim
Guest ToddRoyal Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 I was thinking I Quit too. They won't try Clockwork Orange after the reception the last one got. Hopefully they'll also take that to be a hint to not get too garbagy with it. I don't know much about Daniels, other than he's worked Zero-one (which is most likely why he's working Corino) and he had a showcase match a couple shows back that got a good response.
bob_barron Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 Isn't a Texas Death Match pretty miuch the same thing except with pins?
tpww7 Posted November 16, 2003 Author Report Posted November 16, 2003 Barbed Wire would be good..but they wouldnt do that two nights in a row. As long as it isnt a strap match...
Tawren Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 I'm thinking they should go submission. Load up the wheel/lottery box with hardcore matches, and then it ends up as submission and both men use their underrated mat skills for an excellent match, finally ending with one of them tapping for a decisive end.
tpww7 Posted November 16, 2003 Author Report Posted November 16, 2003 Either way, YOU KNOW Raven and Punk are going to go balls out after the abomination of their cage match which both men hated.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 Who is going to go over....hmmm....
JustJoe2k5 Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 Underrated mat skills? Their match at Expect the Unexpected started with mat wrestling, and it sucked. I say stick with I Quit or Texas Death for a good brawl.
tpww7 Posted November 16, 2003 Author Report Posted November 16, 2003 This would be a perfect time for Cabana to turn heel.
Guest ToddRoyal Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 Uh....? Cabana IS heel with the Second City Saints. I dunno how he can turn heel.
tpww7 Posted November 16, 2003 Author Report Posted November 16, 2003 Cabana is more of a tweener. And turn on Punk.
LucharesuFan619 Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 (edited) Already have my tix...can't wait. And why don't you at least credit ROHWrestling.com for writing that press release? Edited November 17, 2003 by LucharesuFan619
Guest ToddRoyal Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 Ok, I understand the Cabana is kind of a tweener thing, because sometimes they laugh at his stuff, but Punk is the biggest heel in ROH, how would turning on Punk make Colt a heel?
Guest Jimbo Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 The style of match will be chosen the night of the show in the first ever LOTTERY FROM HELL. OMG COAL MINERS GLOVE II~! what??? anyway, I Quit would definetly be the best. They've pinned each other loads of times, so another pin one isn't going to really add any closure to the fued. And as we've seen before, weapons don't help, so any sort of special gimmick match like that isn't going to do anything good either. I quit definetly is the best for the fued anyway. Straight headge versus the grunge life of Raven, the quitter faces the humiliation of falling to the 'disease', especially in Punk's case. So my question is, who do you think will end up winning? I doubt Punk would get pinned as he's being pushed to the moon and a loss would basically kill his gimmick, but then again, where does Raven go after this?
PsychoDriver Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 What about a Texas Death Match? That's the way I always wanted to see Dreamer-Raven to end.. so why not have it end Punk-Raven? Could be very dramatic if done right
Jack_Bauer Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 I reckon another straight out brawl would do the trick for this fued. No silly gimmicks needed in this one.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 I Quit would be the best, because this is the end of the fued. I want blood though...lotsa blood.
Guest OSIcon Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 "I Quit", "Texas Death", or "Last Man Standing" would all be fine with me. Any match that allows brawling and wrestling without having any added gimmicks is good.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 I think "I Quit" is the way to go. If we get a Coal Miner's Glove match though, I will shot myself in the head with a shotgun.
Guest Markingout Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Well in WCW they had a lottery for Sting vs Jake Roberts. It was a retarded coal miners glove match. The glove was on a pole, and I belive who ever got it first won. I remember in the end Roberts brought out a snake, and ended up biting his face. It was horrible. Anyways, I hope ROH dosent do a Clockwork Orange House of Fun again. Remember the first one? Half an hour of crapiness. I am hoping for either Last Man Standing or Submission. I hope it is not a best out of 3 falls... If that happens you can practically predict the ending.
