The fact remains that all the Raiders had to do was push NE back a few more yards before Vinatieri's kick that tied it. He barely made it from 45; there was little chance that would have been good from 48+.

 

Don't forget that on the Raiders' last drive, they RAN on consecutive downs while in their own territory, and the Pats stuffed them like a flat girl's bra.
