So, let me get this right...

Recommended Posts

Jericho calls Austin a bad boss, he points out all of his flaws, he refuses to back down from Austin, he keeps pushing to get Austin fired, and so when the time comes around to close the feud...the win that fires Austin goes to RANDY ORTON.

What?

So, if I have this correct. The Austin/Jericho feud was dumped so Randy Orton could continue his over the top Rocky Maviva push to further show he is like a stain that just won't come out of the rug. For what? To once again turn Jericho face so "the living legend Chris Jericho" he can be the next in line to further push Orton? This guy is becoming Triple H 2.0, the younger version with 20% the talent of young HHH.

I'm confused how seeing another angle trashed to further push Randy Orton is a good thing.

Yeah, I just ranted but it needed to be said.

He gets to fuck Trish Stratus...

So I think he was more preoccupied by that then Austin.

Gotta get that Suckbag over, no matter how many times the fans reject him.

Jericho winning was the only finish that made sense, but hell, It's Randy Orton! How can they ignore those apparently massive reactions he might get some day?

I gotta say........they were desperate to get some heat on him, even going the lengths of having him trash the hometown hero. It didn't work. Why are they pushing this guy down our throat so damn hard? Are we not seeing his upside? Can someone explain to me why they chose to give him HHH v2 push. I would even understand Batista cause he's a monster, but why Orton? It must be the 3rd generation crap.

Better that way, Austin/Jericho was over after he joined Bischof's team, so apparently most of it was to just set up and get him in the match. Having Orton get the pin is something that puts more focus on Evolution as a heel stable, and still can tie into past and future storylines.

As a matter of fact...what would have made the most sense would have been Jericho having to overcome a disadvantage (like Jericho last on his team with 2 or 3 people on the other side...you could have had Orton RKO RVD on the way out to make it more even than that though and still start their probably program) because he believed SO much in the cause.

But Jericho's a heel so the WWE wouldn't do it.

They can't think outside the box...and in recent years the box keeps getting smaller.

Orton = Legend Killer.

Austin = Legend.

Yeah...

*RKO's AS*

Jericho: over.

Orton: Not even close.

I 100% agree with this post. Perfect post up there.

Well, the Jericho/Trish relationship is a little bit outside the box. And I've been watching Raw less lately, but I think that Orton loses more overness from getting continually squashed by Goldberg than he gains with his periodic PPV wins over HBK. Whenever I see him out there, I think midcard. He seems less important than Batista now.

It was actually a better idea to put Orton over than Jericho and let me tell you why. If Jericho wins, you and I all know that he'll get a face pop out of winning. However, with the story that the WWE told it was EXTREMELY important to bum the crowd out so the 'I'm sorry' stuff from Shawn and Austin would have more emotional weight. Jericho going over deflates the whole feeling they would be going for (which is why he should have been turned face a while ago).

Jericho will seemingly be over no matter what. He didn't need the big win. So they gave it to someone who needs the heat very badly.

Randy Orton could shoot Jim Ross in the back of the head LIVE on RAW and the fans still wouldn't give a damn about him.

He's a skinny version of Mark Henry.

Randy has a terrible diamond cutter as a finisher.

Just thought I'd say.

Yes, he does.

How I wish that DDP wasn't forced to retire, so he could use the Diamond Cutter onto Orton.

getting to the point where Batistia seems to be more interesting these days than Orton is.

And guess what...

It didn't work!

Suckbag is like Test. The fans have given their final answer. THEY DON'T CARE. No amount of wins will change that.

So forget about pushing Randy Orton and work on someone with someone who the fans actually give a fuck about.
