JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2003 Hey guys, I am just about to open Global All Pro Wrestling! Check out the FAQ and app below...and apply if you're interested! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GAP WRESTLING ------------------- http://gapwrestling.proboards21.com/index.cgi 1) Most importantly of all...have fun!!! This is a game, afterall! 2) Winners are based on roleplays. At the end of the week, I determine who has the better set of roleplays. I use a mixture of quantity and quality. Quality over quantity! 3) You must roleplay every week for all characters who have a match. Roleplaying is the lifeblood of an efed. If for any reason you can't roleplay any given week (illness, vacation, etc.), EMAIL ME and let me know. I'll give you the week off or work it out. Not RPing for one week will get you warned. Two weeks, and you're a goner. 4) RP Deadline rule: The RP Deadline is always noon eastern time, the day of the event. You can only do one RP in the last 24 hours before the deadline. 5) The RP maximum is 7 a week. That would be one a day. But remember, 2 quality RP's will beat 6 crappy ones. Do a good job. 6) Send STRATS to [email protected]! Strats are very important! They help me get your character across how you'd like it to. Include spots you'd like to see in your match, anything you want to say/do on the card, etc. 7) Cards will be summarized results. PPV's will POSSIBLY be written out whole...we'll get there when we get there. Angles will be very important. Be creative! Create your own angle! Work with other people! Create stables! If you aren't creative enough to make interesting things happen, I'll do it for you! The main thing is, don't just RP and not do anything else...strat, do on-cards, build to a big match with somebody! 8) WWE, TNA, ROH, real wrestlers...they don't exist in our world, so don't mention them! Don't attack anybody else in your promos, don't use any racist terms, and keep swearing to a minimum - don't go overboard, or you will be warned. Be respectful to anyone else here. I have the right to at any time boot anyone from this fed for actions I find inappropriate. 9) Any questions, just email me at [email protected]! --------------------- Application: Your name: Your email: Wrestler's name: Age: Height: Weight: Character type: (Old school babyface? Psychotic heel? Tweener?) Wrestling style: (High flyer? Technical? Hardcore?) 2-3 strengths: 2-3 weaknesses: (balance it out! No wrestler is perfect!) Finishing move name: Finishing move description: 2-3 other trademark moves: 5-10 other moves your wrestler uses: Manager name and description, if applicable: Sample RP: EMAIL YOUR APPS TO [email protected] - thank you! Ace309 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2003 You know, we DO have two perfectly viable e-feds going right at the bottom of these boards.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 You know, we DO have two perfectly viable e-feds going right at the bottom of these boards. True...but that doesn't mean mine won't be good.

Papacita 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 If I were a shameless man, I'd use this as an opportunity to plug my dead e-fed...which, despite being closed of...*counts on fingers* ...15 months, has archived card results that, conveniently, can be found by clicking the link in my sig. Fortunately though, I do have some shame, so I won't do that.
WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 I think it's awesome that Papacita doesn't plug his long dead e-fed every single damn time someone on the board even mentions the the notion of e-feds existing. He's a real class act that way. And I have no shame so go join the SWF now and obtain the glory you deserve.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Papacita COULD have put in the good word for the OAOAST gang, namely the HeldDOWN~! brand.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Papacita COULD have put in the good word for the OAOAST gang, namely the HeldDOWN~! brand. Since I've never bothered to go over to that section of TSM what does OAOAST stand for?
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Papacita COULD have put in the good word for the OAOAST gang, namely the HeldDOWN~! brand. Since I've never bothered to go over to that section of TSM what does OAOAST stand for? One and Only Anglesault Thread. Long story short, it was a joking comment directed towards AS, who was cluttering up a WWE folder thread with ::beltshots::. Others followed suit, so Tony told him to make the "one and only Anglesault Thread" to keep the wackiness contained. The wackiness not only continued, but perservered into TSMers actually coming up with characters, making matches, and evolving into a semi-serious, yet still played for laughs at points e-fed. You should go down there. And look into joining. Especially the HeldDOWN~! brand. We rock.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 So SWF = serious e-fed and OAOAST = comedy e-fed, essentially?
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 So SWF = serious e-fed and OAOAST = comedy e-fed, essentially? No, OAOAST is serious. Very storyline driven as opposed to RP's/who writes the best match. It's just that we don't care if you want to be the next Chris Benoit, or a kung fu monk with erectile dysfunction. We'll take any type of character.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Hmmm I dunno, I've never been a fantasy wrestler of any sort. As you've probably seen on this board, I get my net kicks by poking fun at assorted things in life (yeah, me and every other comedian).
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Hmmm I dunno, I've never been a fantasy wrestler of any sort. As you've probably seen on this board, I get my net kicks by poking fun at assorted things in life (yeah, me and every other comedian). Hey, a lot of characters, just like in real wrestling, are just extensions of ourselves. Myself for example, I'm the preppy, determined, uber babyface with a heart of gold. CanadianChick is Crystal, the tough as nails, takes no shit from man or woman style female wrestler. So in that essence, you'd probably be a heel that makes snide remarks about his surroundings and the others on the roster. Jericho-esque.
Papacita 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Papacita COULD have put in the good word for the OAOAST gang, namely the HeldDOWN~! brand. Oops. Yeah, while I'm sitting here not plugging my dead e-fed, I'd also like to not plug the great OAOAST, which, as of...*checks watch* RIGHT NOW, can be conveniently found in my sig. Oh, and HeldDOWN~! too, which I would also not like to plug. Good enough?
Ace309 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 And the SWF and SJL are, to our knowledge, the only matchwriting fed on the net. A few others have started up but died quickly, which is unfortunate.
Dace59 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 *Starts a shameless plug* SWF offers a lot other other RP fed as you can chose how your character wrestles and write matches you want to see. Also give you a lot more room to work with any ideas you have and there's never a shortage of people to help you or work with. We're not uber serious, just as serious as we need to be. Have a look, read shows like the latest PPV and get a feel for it. Not everyone's thing, but if you like it, have a go. You don't have to be the greatest technical wrestling or dramatic story writer to compear and win either.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2003 Awww, e-feds are competing for my services... I feel just like Scott Steiner... <slips off the ring apron>
