haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Tons of WWE news items... - Kurt Angle has already told WWE management that he won't wrestle again until January, but that he will continue to work on TV if needed. He will not be working house shows. - As reported, Smackdown did a 3.6 rating. The highest rated segment was a 3.9 for the John Cena/Big Show match. The lowest rated segment was a 3.4 for the Shannon Moore/Matt Morgan match. - WWE plans to have Ernest "The Cat" Miller be a fulltime wrestler when he returns. Many in the locker room are questioning this move since Miller doesn't exactly have a great reputation as a wrestler. Most figured his recent build up was going to lead to him having his own Piper's Pit type segment. - There are no plans to have any new person jump to Smackdown since Matt Hardy jumped to RAW. Ernest Miller will fill the extra spot. Credit: Powell Report/PWTorch.com/

evilhomer 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 Typical WWE logic, put Miller in the ring rather than something where all he has to do is talk. I guess there saving the talking spot for Benoit.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2003 3.6? Not bad. I guess people really want to see Cena pushed. Hope they don't mess this up.

Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted November 22, 2003 The lowest rated segment was a 3.4 for the Shannon Moore/Matt Morgan match. The Torch said it was for the A-Train/Bradshaw match. Makes little difference to me since I started nodding off during the Morgan squash and ended up missing about 90% of Train/Shaw, not jolting awake until Brock's music hit. Cat can cut some goofy/funny promos, but he was terrible as a commentator.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 23, 2003 I think Cat and Heyman would have GREAT chemistry... Having The Cat as his Commisioner would rule it.

Silence 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2003 Two words. WWE Style. Well, WWE's limited Ultimo Dragon to mainly kicks, the la maghistral (sp?), dragon screw, Asai Moonsault, and the Asai DDT, so the WWE style won't stop The Cat obviously because he was never great in the ring to begin with and ONLY used "martial arts moves".
