Tonights Preview

*Jeff Jarrett vs. Dusty Rhodes in a non-title lumberjack strap match with nine fans (most expect them to be plants) and Jimmy Hart as the lumberjacks with belts

Yes Folks, Big Dust In the ME...AGAIN

*Raven vs. Kevin Northcutt & Joe Legend. This will actually be a singles match against each, and not a handicap match

Poor Scott. Just stay in ROH, will ya.

*Glenn Gilberti & Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger vs. Konnan & B.G. James & Ron Killings with the vacant NWA tag titles going to the winners. If it doesn't appear to make sense, it's because it doesn't

Should be obvious. Don;t forget none of these idiots draw, because DAVID YOUNG IS MONEY. And the winners get to job to AMW

*Michael Shane vs. Sonjay Dutt for the X title

*Chris Sabin vs. Jean Pierre LaFitte The Evil Pirate

Plus Roddy Piper will be there live.

From the Torch -

Jimmy Hart and Dusty Rhodes previewed the main event of Dusty vs. Jeff Jarrett with fans picked to be lumberjacks at ringside.

Jeff Jarrett cut a long in-ring promo about Hulk Hogan to start the show.

(1) Kid Kash pinned Low Ki in 9:00 with a handful of tights. Low Ki and Christopher Daniels argued after the match.

(2) Abyss pinned Shark Boy, then powerbombed him through a table after the match.

(3) Chris Sabin pinned X in 7:00 after X missed a top rope cannonball splash onto the rampway seconds earlier.

(4) Raven pinned Legend in 5:00.

(5) Raven fought Kevin Northcutt to a no contest in 3:00 after interference from Legend and Abyss. Styles, C.M. Punk, and Julio Deniro made the save.

(6) Michael Shane pinned Sonjay Dutt to retain the X Title in 6:00 after KO'ing him with a chain. Good match, but too short. Shane Douglas announced Michael Shane is the new Franchise.

Dusty Rhodes cut a promo on Jeff Jarrett and referred to himself as "a national treasure."

(7) 3 Live Krew (Konnan & B.G. James & Ron "The Truth" Killings) beat Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger & Glenn Gilberti to win the held up NWA World Tag Team Titles. America's Most Wanted fended off interference from David Young to help 3LK win.

(8) Jeff Jarrett fought Dusty Rhodes to a no contest in 4:30. The fans whipped Jarrett a few times, but otherwise the match didn't consist of much other than couple bionic elbows. The finish came when Callis, Watts, Hart, and the Red Shirts interfered. The show ended with Styles beating up Jarrett. Styles faces Jarrett next week for the title.

Let's see, I look at a $10 bill, then look at those results, switch back and forth a bit, then put the tenner back in my wallet to save for the Ric Flair DVd.

Last summer? Yes, they were awesome. This year? They haven't developed at all, and put on the same basic AMW match that they did last summer, only with half of the passion from back when.

I miss 2002, as sad as that may seem. Sure, WWE sucked balls, but do you know what? TNA, on a bad day, was great television. The matches weren't dull, the crowds actually GAVE A FUCK about the show, and Jarrett didn't have the World title until very late in the year.

I think it's rather sad when the best match on the show was the one given NO hype whatsoever (LowKi vs. Kid Kash).

I know he doesn't like me for my brash behavior, but O'neil is the smartest man on the net forums. Period.

oh yeah and bring back Russo, because he is the lord of rassling.

Yep. Any credibility you've ever thought you had? Officially gone. Dave doesn't WATCH TNA due to monetary constraints, so his opinions are considered worth toilet paper here, since we can, you know, VIEW what we're commenting on.

And if you're such a big Russo fanatic, wouldn't you know that he, himself, HATES 'rasslin?

So who actually watched the show tonite?

Dave is too intelligent to watch anything below wrestlemanias, besides that I will be his henchman and destroy all of you because of my intelligence. Ummm yeah that sounds right.

I loyally order every show.

I LOVED KI/Kash, reminded me of something we'd see in the early days of the X division. Shane/Dutt and X/Sabin were both decent too. But guess what...shock of all shocks...I didn't like the show! It wasn't a good week! I thought there was way too much talking, especially that opening segment which just dragged on way too long and a really unsatifying ending to the ME. So there you go, some of us can still be objective...
