I know Malibu will like this, perhaps a few others too.

I was at the mall today and what did I see in the DVD section? Why the first 2 seasons of Saved by the Bell in one box set. I didn't check the price cause I didn't care(I can basically replay every episode in my mind still) but it does exist.

Been there, done that, bought it the day it came out.

I figured it was some type of DVD update, but you had my hopes up for 90210 or California Dreams.

I tried damnit...I TRIED! Everytime I try to make you happy all you do is brush off my attempts...well I can't take it anymore! We're through Malibu...YOU HEAR ME?! *runs off crying and flailing his arms*

BTW California Dreams kicks ass

A website of the kid who played Jake on the show, and you can download 26 of the songs from the show, from both the Jake era and the Matt (early years) era. "She's Not You" with Jake on vocals gets my highest recommendation.

Yeah I loved California Dreams, the 1st two seasons mainly but, once Matt and his family moved away and they brought Lorena (sp?) and Sly's cousin I thought it wasn't as good anymore.

I'm actually just the opposite. I liked certain parts of the original, but I'm more of a sucker for the Jake/Mark/Lorena era.

The girl who played Matt's sister was my dream wife growing up. Perky tits, beautiful smile, the short cheek level redish brown hair...she was perfect

I have so many problems with them. First, what was the point of Lorena? Really, I mean she did nothing really, all she was is for Jake to date someone and she never really was a part of the band. By the time they made her a co-manager was in the last few eps.

Mark just seemed like a poor man's Matt Garrison.

And I didn't minded Jake at first but, once Matt left and it became Jake's band he just became awful and so did his personality. I don't know why. I guess cause he's bully act and I'm a wannbe rebel got old real fast. In fact when it looked like Tony and Sly could kick his ass.

And they started to spend to much time at school making it a STTB clone with a band. Now to say it wasn't one before but, before then CD had somewhat it's own ID.

I guess the writers needed a way to tie up some loose ends after the Garrisons moved away. Lorena's character tied up those loose ends, which were (1) serving as Sam's host family, and (2) giving them a place to practice.

Jeez, I've seen people around here uninformed about upcoming DVD releases, but this is the first time I've seen someone post about a set that was released months after it was released, and several more months after the release was announced on top of that.

And Seasons 3 and 4 ain't no thang, yo. That's when the show got really crappy.

I don't tend to check sites to see what's being released...I just go and check out the stores every so often.

Only box sets I actually do check up on are The Simpsons.
