Downhome Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 From Comedy Central...... You voted for the nominees, and the winners - so you now have no one to blame except yourself. Who struts victorious down the aisle to thank the world? And who weeps bitter tears while shaking their fists? The only way to find out is to tune in December 7th, 9PM | 8C. So, are any of you going to watch The Commies? Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Mecha Mummy Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 Despite their HEINOUS Weird Al diss in one of the commercials, I'll tune in.
razazteca Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 I am starting to hate award shows now after witnessing the excuss that was the Video Game Award show. I wonder if they are going to make fun of Colin for getting his show cancelled for SNL reruns. At this rate SNL reruns will be 40% of total programming on the channel.
Lando Griffin Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 "I wonder if they are going to make fun of Colin for getting his show cancelled for SNL reruns. At this rate SNL reruns will be 40% of total programming on the channel." Huh...?

kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 7, 2003 Report Posted December 7, 2003 I know MrRant will be watching. What awards are they giving out exactly? And I just saw on TV last night that there's now a DVD awards show. This is out of control...
starvenger Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Funniest female character of the year: Marla Gibbs (The Jeffersons). Why? Because the other 43 named before here weren't there...
razazteca Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Tough Crowd was cancelled. This fake award show is almost like a Roast on award shows.
starvenger Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Tough Crowd was cancelled. This fake award show is almost like a Roast on award shows. Pretty much. But if it wasn't, then why do one? Check out the award girl - she's chewing gum and looking bored...
Downhome Posted December 8, 2003 Author Report Posted December 8, 2003 When I first read about this show, I thought it was going to be something honoring Communists and the such. I'm serious.
razazteca Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 When I first read about this show, I thought it was going to be something honoring Communists and the such. I'm serious. They are actors.

Guest stardust Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Tough Crowd was cancelled. They still show it after The Daily Show at the 11:30/10:30 slot, they just haven't been reairing it in the evenings.
razazteca Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Triumpth the Dog! Is the greatest puppet! Damn the Gilbert Godfrey jokes were bad.
Downhome Posted December 8, 2003 Author Report Posted December 8, 2003 Few "comics" make me want to kill. We have Carot Top, Gallagher, and my latest additidion is that Wanda bitch. I can't FUCKING STAND HER!
The Amazing Rando Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 I'll admit that i enjoy SOME of Gallagher's stuff.... SOME.
Guest Kamui Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Triumph's entire speech owned the rest of this show so far. That is all.
razazteca Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Hm Sara Rule and the guy who does the Tony Hawk Underground theme song! Wow Adam Sandler with hair.
SpikeFayeJettEdBebop Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Hmmm...Barenaked Ladies....that was short....and didnt entertain me at all. I agree with the ownage of the Triumph speech. Wow, the Season 2 Chapelle and Daily Show commercials have been better than half of the show itself. I didn't mind Dangerfield so much.
The Amazing Rando Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 I've heard "Another Postcard" so many times it's close to making me physically sick when I hear it... ...the stuff in Triumph's little 'nomination video' with him dissing the guy in the Darth Vader outfit... ...that is one of the funniest sketches of ALL TIME...
chirs3 Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 ...the stuff in Triumph's little 'nomination video' with him dissing the guy in the Darth Vader outfit... ...that is one of the funniest sketches of ALL TIME... "Uh huh, uh huh... and which one of those buttons calls your parents to come pick you up?"
Downhome Posted December 8, 2003 Author Report Posted December 8, 2003 This is a hell of a lot better than the shitfest that was the VGAs.
The Amazing Rando Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Raynor...that whole THING was golden... find it on the net...it's amazing... "here we have a group of nerds playing Risk on the sidewalk... *goes to nerds* ...so here you are playing this lovely game on the sidewalk...when you could be doing your normal routine of playing it in the comfort of your own home" ^-- that's the basic idea... other such gems are: *to nerds in line* "Who wants a spoiler...you want a spoiler... YOU WILL ALL DIE ALONE!"
Guest Kamui Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 That Daily Show acceptance speech owned.
The Amazing Rando Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 only three nominees for animated stuff... that's sad.
The Amazing Rando Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 i'm surprised i haven't won an award yet....this seems easy...
SpikeFayeJettEdBebop Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Oh yes, that whole thing ruled fucking ass. Much better than the VGAs(ABout everything is). One thing I noticed though, when they showed the "earmuffs" clip from Old School it seemed like it was completely uncensored including "fuck" and "shit" I dont know. I didn't notice it untill afterword. I can't think of why they would do that on just a normal show(I know they did it with South Park).
Ravenbomb Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 man, think they got enough reaction shots of Alyson Hannigan? Not that I'm complaining
Lando Griffin Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 Tough Crowd ain't cancelled, yo.
starvenger Posted December 8, 2003 Report Posted December 8, 2003 I've heard "Another Postcard" so many times it's close to making me physically sick when I hear it... I think that one of BNL's older songs would have been more appropriate. I woulda marked out for "Be My Yoko Ono"...
