RESULTS OF THE SMARTMARKS TRANSLATOR 5000!!! You may notice my O.C. banner. Therefore you can safely assume that my television watching habits are as bad, if not worse, than choice of music. P.S. They're actually three of my favorite bands, Sweet Sensation especially. I'm a huge freestyle mark.

Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 Stevie B. is the one man freestyle boyband. "Because I love you..." Damn I wish hateful things on this ballad IN ANGER. Yep, he's a boyband. Right on. And I hate you even moreso, since Stevie is actually a friend of the family (which is pretty much what got me into freestyle in the first place). I have always been a huge Stevie B. mark. If he wasn't so ugly, he would have been huge in the business.

I have always been a huge Stevie B. mark. If he wasn't so ugly, he would have been huge in the business. Stevie is still the guy who you think of when you think of the freestyle explosion of the 80's and 90's. He made the best transition into the Top 40 scene. Plus, as stated above, I've got a soft spot for the guy. If anyone is wanting to know how we know him, my cousin Dave was a backup singer/dancer that toured with him, so freestyle's in my blood, heh. OldSchoolWrestling 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 Can you a hook a brotha up with an autograph? Raz will hate me, but I still have The Postman Song (Because I Love You) in cassette single format.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 My cousin doesn't work for him anymore, this was dating back to the early-mid 90's. Otherwise, I'd gladly hook ya up. Actually, Stevie just played here twice this year. I saw him in the summer at a nightclub, and then the Providence Performing Arts Center held a "Freestyle Rush" (the owner of a local club that still plays a ton of freestyle put it together with Stevie's help). Stevie B., TKA (and K7 then did Come Baby Come and Move It Like This on his own), George Lamond, Lisa Lisa, Coro, and Rob Base and EZ Rock made for a fucking awesome concert. The place was sold out, packed to the rafters, and EVERYONE was on their feet the whole night. Then we hit the after party at Platform's (the club I mentioned) and the acts were mingling with people and dancing on their own. Awesome time.
