UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2003 Yeah, I'm correct. Armageddon 99 was Vis.Rikishi Vs. Hollys NWO 2000 was Henry vs. Viscera...after Viscera DISTARDLY splashed the pregnant Mae Young.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2003 So anyway, about tonight: I hope: KANE wins. ORTON wins. TEST & STEINER win. JERICHO turns babyface. Booker/Henry get fired or sent to NWA-TNA. MICHAELS wins. I expect: Goldberg retains, pinning HHH. Foley screw Orton out of the win. Dudleys or Ar-Cade Suck-Drak wins. Jericho/Christian are made fools of. Booker/Henry gets 15 minutes. Batista wins w/ Flair's help. Yay. Off to the bar, seeya people.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2003 1) World Heavyweight Title Match Goldberg © vs. Kane vs. Triple H Goldber will leave with the title, after pinning HHH once again. I don't know what will happen in the match, but Goldberg will leave as champion. 2) WWE Intercontinental Title Match Special Ref: Mick Foley Rob Van Dam © vs. Randy Orton Randy Orton will win the IC title after doing some shit and Mick Foley doesn't WANT to make the pinfall, but he ends up doing so. 3) World Tag Team Titles Turmoil Match The Dudley Boyz © vs. Garrison Cade & Mark Jindrak vs. La Resistance vs. Val Venis & Lance Storm vs. Rosey & The Hurricane vs. Scott Steiner & Test My pick here is for Cade/Jindrak to win the tag titles with a sneaky tactic, heh. 4) Trish Stratus & Lita vs. Chris Jericho & Christian Trish/Lita will win the match after one of them pins Christian with an out of nowhere schoolboy. Christian will hold Trish and tell Jericho to hit her, Jericho will refuse, and the ending will come right there. 5) Shawn Michaels vs. Batista HBK will go over in this one. He'll get his ass handed to him for most of the match, and he'll do the "comeback" that he seems to enjoy so much. He'll get the pin, but post match he'll be destroyed. 6) Mark Henry vs. Booker T Booker T will win, that's all I want to say about this one.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2003 WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Bill Goldberg © vs. Kane vs. Triple H Goldberg has actually transformed into a pretty decent champion. His matches have been solid and he has become over with the crowd. I would like to think that this match was the transitional match to move Goldberg out of the feud with Triple H and into a feud with Kane. This would count Triple H out as a possible winner, and since HHH is pursuing an acting career and taking time off, it is unlikely that Triple H will become a three time Raw World Champion again tonight. I don't think the WWE is ready to put the title on Kane, nor do I think the storyline is ready for that yet either. Predicted Winner: Goldberg Desired Winner: Goldberg INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Rob Van Dam © vs. Randy Orton If RVD goes over Randy Orton tonight, I will be seriously shocked. RVD has stated in interviews that the IC title means very little to him and that he was more insulted than honored to win the title again. To RVD, being given the IC title is just another way of the WWE showing him that they don't find him to be championship worthy. Meanwhile, WWE's homegrown Randy Orton has been on the receiving end of a huge push since the summer. I expect this will continue tonight and a new IC champion will be crowned. Predicted Winner: Randy Orton Desired Winner: Randy Orton WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 'Tag Team Turmoil Match' Dudley Boyz © vs. Mark Jindrak & Garrison Cade vs. Val Venis & Lance Storm vs. La Resistance vs. Scott Steiner/Test vs. The Hurricane/Rosey This match could go many different ways. The team of Rosey and The Hurricane don't stand a chance as they haven't been really pushed in a long while, and they were only on Raw this week because they got put in this match. Val Venis and Lance Storm are not quite ready for an outing as tag champs (but do mind you that they were the champions earlier this year when Venis was still Cheif Morely). The Dudley Boyz have had the titles for a little while now, so they could stand to drop them. On a similar note, I do not have trouble imagining a Dudley Boyz victory tonight. Scott Steiner and Test have a good chance of winning the belts, but the main feud going into this match has been The Dudleyz vs Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak. This leads me to believe that the rookie team will pull a serious upset and become the World Tag Team Champions. Predicted Winners: Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak Desired Winners: Rosey and The Hurricane (how awesome would that be) Shawn Michaels vs. Batista This one is short and simple. HBK has already jobbed to Randy Orton, so I have trouble picturing HBK being eager to job to yet another young Evolution member. I see Michaels getting the win (this time) but a rematch will probably happen later on with a Batista win. Predicted Winner: Shawn Michaels Desired Winner: Shawn Michaels Booker T vs. Mark Henry This just might be the most pointless feud in WWE history (since Jericho accidently spilled coffee on Kane, at least). No one knows why these two are fighting. In fact, Mark Henry already beat Booker T on Raw a few weeks back, yet it was Henry attacking Booker the following week. With a little luck, Booker T will get a win tonight and Mark Henry will not be elevated any further. Predicted Winner: Booker T Desired Winner: Booker T "BATTLE OF THE SEXES" MATCH Chris Jericho/Christian vs. Trish Stratus/Lita I am really praying that this match resolves with Chris Jericho turning on Christian because he has genuine feelings for Trish Stratus. This causes some Matt Hardy involvement leading to a possible Christian/Matt Hardy association. The possibilities are endless with this match so I really hope the WWE decides to get ambitious and do some good storytelling, which they haven't done in a long time. Predicted Winners: Lita and Trish Stratus Desired Winners: Lita and Trish Stratus (assuming Y2J turns) So that's that. We'll probably have Molly vs Ivory on Heat or something. Maybe a Stevie Richards match, that seems to be his lot in life.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2003 you WANT Orton to win? I agree with him, actually. I look at it this way: if Orton has the title, WWE might actually care about it and treat it like it's pretigious. If RVD has it, that won't happen.

I look at it this way: if Orton has the title, WWE might actually care about it and treat it like it's pretigious. If RVD has it, that won't happen. That's one way of looking at it. I figured as long as Orton is IC Champ, it technically means he won't be getting a main event push for a while longer too.

Eh, what the hell, do as you please, there's no difference between the two. They're in cahoots. SWOIVE. Anyways, I just realized that Shawn Michaels has been involved or wrestled in matches with Evolution for the last 7 PPV's. April- 6 Man Tag against HHH and (I think) Flair May- Backed up Kevin Nash when he fought Triple H June- Ric Flair August- Randy Orton, Triple H September- Orton November- Orton in a 10 Man Tag And now, December- Batista

I still remember how it all got flushed away at Unforgiven 2002. ::sigh:: It might happen again, WWE seems rather intent on keeping RVD under contract and he is being rather picky with the negotiations... You would've thought they would have put a women's match in there, just so the title got defended. Yeah, that's why I called a potential Ivory vs Molly match up. I figured that since Lita and Trish are too busy with their tag match, Ivory would be the next in line... does Jacquelyn even still work for WWE?
