At the risk of sounding nitpicky, wouldn't it have made more sense for Shawn pull another SS performance where he almost defeats the odds, but falls short? Sounds like a good match, but that ending is a little eh with me. I'm not trying to get all smarky here, but if they're building up Batista, him taking out a legend like Shawn, despite a great fight on Michaels' part, would've seemed more just.

Yeah, I suppose you're right. Hardy would have been smart to stay on Smackdown... and I wasn't implying that Hardy needed heat. Any additional heat is good heat.
