Jobber of the Week Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Was that the WMXX logo on a truck? GEE, OVERHYPE AN EVENT MUCH?
Tawren Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 ****1/2, too many chinlocks. ...oh wait.
Guest Indy Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 say it with me now WHAT. THE. FUCK
DangerousDamon Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Okay- Who called that?!?!?!?! ME
The Ghost of bps21 Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Foley did the right thing. I wouldn't want my first match in years to be mired in Orton mediocrity either.
Guest neodragonsan Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 ...? What the fuck did we just see?
LooseCannon25 Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 I liked it....I liked the end alot. It made perfect sense for a guy who hasn't stepped in a ring for 4 years, with all those stipulations in one match, to doubt himself and walk away
razazteca Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 So was that suppose to get more female viewers or to turn off the male viewers?
Downhome Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 ...? What the fuck did we just see? OMG SELFCONFLITSSSSSSSSS~!!
Guest Besus Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 This isn't the 1st time this has happened.Oh well,Dont care.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 so...no more foley again for a while.. no more co-gm and I bet HBK wont get his title match in 2 weeks.. and Austin won't be coming back either..
CanadianChris Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Is the show over? Was that it??
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 (Russo jumps out of a bush) SWERVE!!!!!!!!!!!
DMann2003 Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 I'd love it if somehow this turned into crazy Foley still incensed with Austin & Rock and mega heel Cactus Jack returns to fight either at WrestleMania.
EricMM Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 So: Kane / Jericho was main? I mean come on...
The Mandarin Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Brilliant. That was simply brilliant. Foley knows he's not in proper condition to defend himself, he hasn't wrestled a match in 4 years, and he wouldn't want to embarrass himself out there by losing to Orton. So he defies his hardcore character, and walks. That was awesome.
Downhome Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 I liked it....I liked the end alot. It made perfect sense for a guy who hasn't stepped in a ring for 4 years, with all those stipulations in one match, to doubt himself and walk away No it didn't make sense. He still lost the match, all the stips, he let everyone down. He proved that he's a selfish bastard.
{''({o..o})''} Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 That did more to turn me against the product than anything I can recall. This better lead somewhere damn good.
Guest Team Hoss Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 That was a really stupid thing to do. Mick Foley is one of a few guys who really seems bigger than the business in that people really believe in him and respect him. In my opinion, this was more than a bait and switch. Regardless of where this goes, Foley is pissing on his own legacy by participating in an angle that screws over the fans like that, especially the people in the arena audience. I don't know why anyone would pay good money to see a WWE event anymore with all this bait and switch b.s. going on. This is ridiculous.

Guest cpac Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Hold on one sec. Since there wasn't a winner and loser that makes the match a draw. Both Foley and Eric stay on as Co Gms. Since neither Foley or Orton won or loss the match. How can the stipulations go into effect if there wasn't a match. Dear WWE, Hunter is ruining the fed, I dont care if he jobbed to one of his clique buddies and Stop with the Bait and Switch. I am sick of this bullshit.
NYU Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Stupid fucks. If they were going to do that, put it in the middle of the show and then show the aftermath in the last hour. Now, they just alienated the fans in the arena and the fans watching at home by bringing a pretty good Raw, then doing one of the worst Bait and Switches I've ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised if ratings go down a considerable amount next week. Fans don't like to be fucked around with, and this proved to be a huge waste of time.
Guest neodragonsan Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 That did more to turn me against the product than snything I can recall. This better lead somewhere damn good. In today's WWE? Don't hold your breath man...

DMann2003 Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 It didn't turn me off because I want to tune in and find out WHY Foley walked out.
Guest PowerPB13 Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Wow...I guess WWE can't deliver on ANYTHING any more. Not that I blame Mick, if I was a part of that Goddamn company, I'd take a walk too. -Patrick
