Anyone been to "Titan Towers" (The building)

Recommended Posts

Guest glennsoe

I'm going to New York in 3 weeks and i'm considering visiting "Titan Towers", but i need to know some things from people that have been there.

So if you've been to "Titan Towers", can you please tell me;

* If it's "open to the public" with tours, or do i need a appointment to even go in the front door ?

* What is it there that are of interest to the normal fan ?

* Any chance of seeing wrestlers there ???

* Any additional info is welcomed by me

Thanks guys and gals

Titan Towers is not in nor near New York - its in a different state (Connecticut) and is a good few hours from New York City.

It is a corporate headquarters and as such there are no tours whatsoever.

The foyer has (or had a few months back) some wrestling memobrilla but nothing that would be worth visitnng for.

the rest of anything interesting is at the top of the building near the McMahon's offices, and there isn't a chance you will get up there.

You won't see many wrestlers there - they are more likely to be around the corner in the television studios.

Living in Connecticut myself, I can tell you that Stamford is in the far, far, far southwestern portion of the state and is probobly equally far from both NYC and Hartford. I've driven by Titan Towers a few times before, it's nothing special. Just your usual run of the mill big ass office building with a lot of windows.

Ha! The fact he doesn't know that WWE head quarters have been based in Connecticut makes me laugh.

Is this why the company seems to favor the east coast so much? We here on the west coast get so few shows.

I hope you knew this, but before McMahon bought everyone out, Madison Square Garden (in NY of course) was WW(W)F's main arena to hold shows.

Like they still say, it's like a home coming when WWE returns to MSG.

And the East Coast is better. That's why there's no West Coast mods (that I'm aware of).

/just kidding...or am I? Or am I not?

Right now, he's sitting in a dark room muttering to himself as he polishes his rifle while reading the responses.

Why do they call it Titan Towers if there's only one of them?

Titan Sports Inc. is the brand behind WWE. Hence the name Titan Towers. And the TitanTron.

It used to be the name behind the WWF before it went public in 1999. From 1999 to 2002, it was WWFE and now it's just WWE (lazy fucks).

Maybe he decided to watch a 24 marathon of Test matches and went crazy, forgetting he posted this topic.

Wow, you don't know much about CT do you.

Stamford is about 45 mins away from NYC.

Stamford is about 90 mins away from Hartford.

Big difference if you ask me.

I remember visiting the CNN Center in Atlanta September of 1996 with my 7th grade class. We were walking down a hallway and we saw Tony Schiavone and Dusty Rhodes in some room with glass walls doing some sort of voice taping or whatever. My friend David made a sign that said "nWo owns WCW" and Dusty shook his hands and ran to the door in an effort to shoo us away while Schiavone laughed.

Seeing Dusty Rhodes try to run was worth that field trip.
