Guest glennsoe Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 We reported a while back that Kevin Nash’s WWE contract is set to expire on 12/31. He hasn’t been offered a new contract, so he will no longer be a WWE superstar come Wednesday. There had been some talk that he may work the 1/4/04 HUSTLE-1 event with Scott Hall. However, I can inform you that no agreement has been made, as they were unable to come to terms. However, with it looking like Nash’s WWE days are over, he did say that he would accept a non-wrestling role with WWE, if the money was right. If WWE and Nash couldn’t reach an agreement, he’s made it clear that he would look else where at other promotions --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So this means no more Big Sexy/lazy or whatever you guys have been calling him from 01/01/04 ?? Well no tears from Norway for this one......His wwe run has been a dissapointment, but hey he had has day when he came to the wcw !! But since he had such a high pay check, maybe wwe will "raid" ROH and TNA and get more quality wrestlers ?? I'm talking Sabin, Lynn, Red, Ki, Kash and Styles here ! So from Norway to Nash; Thanks for nothing - Glenn -
jester Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 They'll sign him to another multi million dollar deal, and he'll injure himself cashing the cheque. Then in six months Nash will do a gimp-in on a HHH match, "wrestle" a couple PPV matches, and then be on the shelf for the rest of the contract. Then it will run out, and Vince will again flush some money down the toilet to resign him. Repeat.
k thx Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 No-ones gonna pay Nash what he's been earning the last few years (at least not in the west). $10 says he turns up at a TNA event with Hogan and Hall...
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 $10 says he turns up at a TNA event with Hogan and Hall... If he does, thats the trigger to get WWE people interested in NWA:TNA.

Guest Anglesault Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 I'd take Nash as a color commentator
Guest Choken One Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 I'd love Nash to replace King as Raw's Commentator... Any one remember those gems he did on Saturday Nights when NWO "brought" time and he and Scott would commentate the jobber matches in empty arenas? Classic shit.
CanadianChick Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 I wouldn't mind seeing Nash as a commentator...anything is a step up from the King.
Guest Choken One Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 WWE should just have Nash/Matthews for Raw Tazz/Heyman for Smackdown
Tawren Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 WWE should just have Nash/Matthews for Raw Tazz/Heyman for Smackdown Where's Cole? Nash/Whoever for Raw Cole/Tazz for Smackdown!
Guest Choken One Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Uh...Cole Sucks and has been carried by Tazz for over 18 months.
CanadianChick Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 Yeah, Matthew's is so much better than Cole. But is Heyman good for play-by-play?
Tawren Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 What? Matthews sucks. I cannot listen to that guy at all. Cole-I think he is a great announcer.
Lil' Bitch Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 I thought Nash's contract expired in February, but whatever.
Mystery Eskimo Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 I like Nash...not in the ring, but he's a smart, funny guy. A manager/bodyguard/mentor role for someone would be fun.
Guest HardcoreMF'nHolly Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Fuck yeah. Get that sloth of a fuck out of there! Fuckin Nashhole.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 They should rehire Sanders, and have Nash/Sanders commentating Raw.
buffybeast Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 I could see Nash managing a stable of big men.
clean rob Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 ^^^ I could see that too. But I sure as shit wouldn't want to. I've never been able to work out why people think Nash would make a good commentator - every time he's done it it's been shite IMO. Personally, I LIKE Tazz and Cole. Possibly just because of the current alternative, but there you go. I'd also like to see a Matthews/Heyman combo on Raw - may well be shash, but I think it could be magic.
Adam Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 If I had to choose the commentators for RAW and SD, Id probably leave Cole/Tazz, and then have Heyman and Coach. But thats just me. Id be happy with Nash commentating Heat, talking up the jobbers and shit.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Kevolution Kevin Nash (manager) Scott Steiner Test John Heidenreich
buffybeast Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Kevolution Kevin Nash (manager) Scott Steiner Test John Heidenreich I can see the writers doing something like this. I hope no one from the company sees this thread. I've like Cole since he's been paired with Tazz. For whatever reason Cole is much more palatable when paired with the squaty orange man.
Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 I hope Nash is gone for good, in all the time that i've been a wrestling fan, that's the one thing I could never figure out, why is Kevin Nash considered a headliner? Even in his prime, if you could call it that, of 94-96, he was a boring worker, I couldn't stand his promos, he can barely walk without hurting himself, resigned? Hell WWE shouldn't have signed him in the first place. And the fact that WWE released potentially great talents like EZ Money and Steve Bradley from their developmental system, or awesome talent like Jerry Lynn and D-Lo Brown from the main roster as a cost cutting measure, yet wasted all that money on signing Big Lazy, it gets on my fucking nerves.
2GOLD Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Hire back Hall, and make it Hall/Nash/Matthews. I find all the play by play men in the WWE to be complete failures but you work with what you have I suppose. But the Hall/Nash tag team mocking the faces as they wrestle would just make it a great time. Plus I'm sure they have great stories to tell. Hall and Nash> Tazz, Hugh, Lawler, Snow combined.
Use Your Illusion Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 There's money to be made yet. The 'Master of the Powerbomb' has still not truly been determined! Re-hire Sid, fuckers. UYI

Both of them walking to the ring alone has a 99% chance of injury, I'd pay just to see THAT. UYI
caboose Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 So long Nash, don't tear your quad on the way out.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 So long Nash, don't tear your quad on the way out. Hilarious! Big Lazy shouldn't be under contract with WWE in ANY WAY! He = thought the Finger Poke of Doom was a GOOD IDEA.
