Slickster Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 For the record, Yokozuna had no children. I feel that he MUST be mentioned at WMXX because he dominated the WWE, if only for a year or two.
Guest Choken One Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 It's not like his family won't be there...
Slickster Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 It's not like his family won't be there... I'm not so sure about that... Personally, having a segment where they get all the living former WWE champs to come down to the ring (complete with entrance music) would be pretty cool. It'd basically be a gimmick battle royal with no match, which would be fine.
Vern Gagne Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 For the record, Yokozuna had no children. I feel that he MUST be mentioned at WMXX because he dominated the WWE, if only for a year or two. Thank you.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Dig up old Bruno from the old age home and wheel him out so that he can say Bubba get the tables...and die two weeks later First off, Bruno's still in his late 60s (I think) and supposedly in fantastic shape for a man his age. Secondly, for Bruno Sammartino to ever be in the same room as Vince McMahon ever again would require not only hell freezing over, but also for Mars to have humanoid life on it, the Cleveland Browns getting an offensive line, and Stacy Keibler having my baby. And the Red Sox winning the World Series. It's gonna happen this year! Bring in Bruno, Bad News Brown, and Tony Atlus...I'd include the man who was Nailz but he wasn't a legend.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Tito Santana did participate at the first 9 Wrestlemanias, his match at IX was a dark match though... Maybe on HEAT, we can get . . . Just one more time . . . Tito Santana vs. The Model Rick Martel! Rick Martel just had double hip replacement surgery.
Dangerous A Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 How about no WWF legends show up? Shit, why does everyone think that WWE/F needs to have some legends show up just because it's WMXX? I think it's stupid. WWE never really honors these people properly anyways. I don't blame people like Bruno for refusing to show up. Why should he? He did his service for Vince and they treated him like shit after he got out. That's why their Hall of Fame is a sham. Because unless you sucked Vince Jr's cock, you weren't getting in. They didn't even have Billy Graham or Bruno in that Hall of Fame, which shoots the credibility of the Hall straight to hell. I just want a wrestling show for WMXX, not WWE pretending to honor it's legends with a bullshit ceremony. Note to any legends: stay the fuck away from WMXX!!!
Guest Coffey Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Hmm, well since Wrestlemania is supposed to be five hours long this year, I don't think having some "guest appearances" would hurt. That being said: Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat Bret "The Hitman" Hart Bobby "The Brain" Heenan Hulk Hogan That's all I really care to see.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 A little, nice, classy legends ceremony and video package would be perfectly fine. Guys like Steamboat, Bret, Heenan, Mr. T~~!!!, Backlund etc. could show up and get "honoured" by the WWE in a segment that lasts like 10 minutes. In reality, Mae Young will get her tits out again, and we will all have a good laugh at Pat Patterson's shit stained underpants, while Randy Orton drops Sarge, Brisco and Gorilla Monsoons' corspe with the RKO, to further his "Legend Killer" character. I can't wait.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Vince: Allow me to introduce a true legend of the World Wrestling Federation! :: "Voodoo Child" plays :: :: crowd goes apeshit :: :: Pat Patterson comes out with feather Boa and struts to the ring :: Vince: Pat Patterson, ladies and gentlemen! :: Vince and Pat do muscle-poses in the ring :: :: "Real American" plays :: :: crowd goes APE-FUCKING-SHIT :: :: Hogan comes out, destroys Patterson and Vince, and poses for the crowd :: Now THAT's what I want to see.
Guest Coffey Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Except when "Real American" plays, Gerald Briscoe will be the next guy to come out....
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 What legends should appear? Los Conquistadors!!!!!!!!
Anakin Flair Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Except when "Real American" plays, Gerald Briscoe will be the next guy to come out.... Then play "Eye of the Tiger", Hogan comes out, destroys all three, poses, and leaves... Only to be assulted by Savage.
snuffbox Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 I wouldnt mind a legends ceremony of some sorts. or another gimmick battle royal, i marked like a lil bizatch at wm17, the last wrestlemania that i saw.
LooseCannon25 Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 All Wrestlemania main-eventers ever should be at WM XX : Mister T Hulk Hogan Roddy Piper Paul Orndorff King Kong Buddy Ted Dibiase Randy Savage Ultimate Warrior Sgt Slaughter Sid Bret Hart Lawrence Taylor Shawn Mickaels The Undertaker Steve Austin The Rock Mick Foley And Andre and Yokozuna should be missed. On your list, can I take Bam Bam instead of LT......i dont want to se LAwrence Taylor's ass in a wrestling ring again.
deancoles Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Brother Love should host a special Brother Love show where he pisses off all the legends and gets destroyed by all of them.
Vyce Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Who should be there? Bobby Heenan, and Bobby Heenan. And let's not forget Bobby Heenan. I just read the guy's book. He's pretty much the best color guy they EVER had, I can't see how they can't bring him back for at least one day - especially after all he's battled through the past couple years.
