Is anybody here a fan of the t.v. show Kids In The Hall? I've been a fan since 1999, and I think it is one of the funniest shows ever made. Defintley in my Top 5 list. I first saw the show in 1994, the final episode actually, and have been recording the episodes every weekday on Comedy Central at 2 and 2:30 p.m. I also remember the show being on 11:30 p.m. every night on Comedy Central followed by MST3K at midnight. My favorite performers were Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, and Scott Thompson. I enjoyed the Pig Boy sketch, the Son of Pig Boy, that Dark side show with Kevin and Dave as Heccubus. I also love the one where they're playing poker and are talking about women. And the one where Bruce Mccollough plays that teenager who girlfriend dumps him and he runs away while performing a song. I still have that song stuck in my head. And who can forget "The Beard" and "The Life of Cyril St. John". And the classic "Cincatti Kid vs. Toronto Kid"?

So, who else here was a fan of Kids In The Hall? Post your favorite sketches and characters and discuss how great Kids In The Hall was.

Is it me or are some of the best skits never shown on Comedy Central? Where is the Chicken Lady, Cabbage Head, I Crush Your Head skits?

They are shown, just very rarely.

And yes, I am a huge KITH fan.

Aside from Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Dukes of Hazard, and Iron Chef, this might be my favorite show in the history of television. The oral sex fairy, the skits with that Gavin kid asking all the fucked up questions, and the pit of eternal darkness with Sir Simon Milligan and Manservant Heccubus are great.

The show killed SNL for its time, I loved it.

But they way overdid the gay skits. I understand that Scott's gay and they have to play to that, but it was a little much and I didn't find a lot of them too funny.

one time my boss asked me when i was going to shave my beard, so i turned quickley, wide-eyed and said "NO, the beard stays...YOU go." she never asked me to shave again. true story.

one of my all time favorite shows (behind MST3K), great every time i see it. i was thrilled when they begin re-running them again...alot better then yet ANOTHER SNL ep.

i was a huge fan back in the day, but looking back on it, the show was very hit-or-miss. some of their stuff was hysterical, but they relied way too much on recurring characters (often long after the joke stopped being funny), & i'll sometimes watch entire episodes now without laughing once. 'the state' and 'upright citizens brigade' smoke this show.
