Paul Stanley Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 It's really dusty and it wont load some stages on DBZ: Budokai...anytips/tricks???
Star Ocean 3 Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 One time I was mad my PS2 wasn't loading, so I pounded it with my fist really hard and a crapload of dust came shooting out of the vents.
the max Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Don't you mean an air duster? An air compressor...
syxx2001 Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 I used one. A Q-Tip and alcohol is alot cheaper. Just clean the lens.
Thoth Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 and it wont load some stages on DBZ: Budokai... That would be the problem.
Nevermortal Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 This reminds me of an experience I had in summer camp. Some kid told me his father works in the compressed air business, so I asked him, "What does he do, fart in a can?" The kid immediately got pissed, left, and cried in the bathroom the whole day. The counselors couldn't coax him out of it the whole day, and they had to call his parents. What a mean fucker I am.
Kardo Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Don't you mean an air duster? An air compressor... My dad is a computer technician in a fairly large school and uses an air compressor (the second picture) to clean computers that have gotten too dusty. Saves a stack of time instead of hand dusting everything. Can't see why it wouldn't work on a playstation 2.
Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 If the air from the compressor is clean or filtered, go for it, using short bursts and constantly moving. Wait awhile for any moisture to evaporate before using your ps2. If not, buy a can of compressed air using the same technique, be careful not to freeze anything.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 What about just using a lens cleaner?
Renegade Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Just use a household vacuum near the openings of the PS2 and if that doesnt work a lens cleaner.
The Czech Republic Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 Dust in the computer is the bane of my existence.
