WWE in 2004

Recommended Posts

Wrestlemania 20 will be a disappointment of epic proportions, usurping Wrestlemania 9's spot as the worst WM ever.

HHH will keep the belt for the bulk of 2004, with the occassional month long reigns for HHH's BUTT buddies Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton.

Randy Orton will continuing to be pushed down everyone's throats to the point that audiences boo the fuck out of him whenever he's in the ring. As a result of this, online fans will coin a new phrase "Randy Orton Heat" to give a name for the type of suckiness and reaction Orton illicits from the audience.

Angle will phased out of active duty and into a full-time road agent/booking position with the SD roster

Kevin Nash will get a job as booker for Raw and aside from tormenting those wrestlers he hates will use every dirty trick in the book to discredit and ruin Angle's position in the booking comitte.

Chris Jericho will face Triple H and lose again. Then, to add insult to injury, Trish Stratus will dump him and Steve Austin and Jim Ross will spend multiole episodes of Raw humiliating Jericho nonstop via JR's commentary and Austin's 20 minute promos which permenantly result in Jericho being labeled a loser and chocker in the eyes of the fans ala Lex Luger.

Matt Hardy will be continued to be buried and not used and will end up going down the same road as his brother in order to try and get fired

Golbereg will no-show Wrestlemania 20 after his planend match with Rock changes so that Rock beats Golberg like a bitch without any post-match respect showing between the two.

Bret Hart won't be at WM20 do to Vince or one of his family members doing/saying something stupid that pisses off Bret

The Kurt Angle DVD will be a total and complete disappointment do to the WWE concentrating solely on the post name-change content.

Unlike the Ric Flair DVD, the Mick Foley will be promoted like crazy by the WWE. The DVD will also kill any chances of seeing any more ECW footage used as a result of the WWE fucking up the handling of Joey Styles by way of the WWE releasing it with Style's pressence/commentary intact and are sued by Joey Styles as a result for copyright infringement.

Chris Benoit will not win any world title. He MIGHT win the US title provided that Vince realizes that Big Show has it and hasn't done anything with it

John Cena will continue to get pushed but in the role of Brock Lesner's punching bag.

Edge will return and join the Raw roster where he will be made into Triple H's personal bitch as payback for all of those shoot comments Edge has made about HHH over the years....

The only thing I would change is at some point in 2004 I think Matt Hardy's name comes up on the job to HHH wheel. Resulting in a quicky face turn, month long push, loss, and right back to low card.

Triple H: Triple H will take a long time out after Mania and will hopefully try and lose some weight. If he continues as he is, he will have retired from in ring activity by the end of the year.

Ric Flair: Flair wil retire at Wrestlemania after a match with another legend, possibly Angle.

Kurt Angle: Kurt will have his last run in the WWE, as a heel then turning automatically as he reaches the close of his career.

Chris Jericho: Jericho will be turned face by the bored Raw viewers and the bookers will have no choice but to put him in a serious feud with title challegers (Orton, etc).

Randy Orton: Two words: not yet. He'll hold the IC title for quite some time but still won't be in the position to actually hold the world title.

Edge: Edge will return, to Raw no less, and take the belt off Triple H. I can certainly see it happening. Edge will be the big take-off star this year.

Rob Van Dam: Van Dam will be fired this year.

Booker T: Booker will retire after a nothing year.

Steve Austin: An unsuccesful in-ring return will cause serious injury and he'll be forced to fully retire and take time off.

Eric Bischoff: Will be taken off Raw and used as a booker.

Trish Stratus: Trish will leave and do Playboy and come back with a huge ego.

Matt Hardy: Matt will be teamed up with Jeff as they go back to basics as being a great tag-team. However, the gimmick matches cannot return so to build up the meaning of the TLC matches again.

Brock Lesnar: Brock will be injured and out for a long time. He'll return as a heel who doesn't take any shite, just like the first time round.

Kane: Kane will go to Smackdown to feud with the Undertaker. 'Taker will retire.

The Rock: Rock will be back full-time, but not till the end of the year.

The McMahons: Vince will realise that his presence was not needed last year and will only intervene to make the odd main event seem more special.

Mick Foley: Foley will job to Randy Orton at some stage, possibly on RAW.

Wow! How pessimistic!

I should just commit suicide right now if 2004 is going to suck.

This is what will happen:

1) HHH will injure himself by tearing another quad or ligament.

2) Kevin Nash will be on RAW booking not Smackdown holding down Angle.

3) Kurt Angle will probably have more neck trouble facing the Hosses of Smackdown.

4) Undertaker will beat Kane at Wrestlemania 20.

5) Brock Lesnar will face Chris Benoit and John Cena at WM 20 and retain his title because in the WWE heels retain titles.

6) Big Show will be fired for eating Stephanie McMahon. He will show up on NWA-TNA with the US title and throw it out. No one will care.

7) 12 to 20 wrestlers will die.

8) Bret will punch out Vince and announce the main event at WM.

9) The Smarks will hate something like Jericho not having an undefeated streak or if Flair/Steamboat is still ****4/4 or ***************************************.

10) Randy Orton will get over. Brock Lesnar did except I have not found a reason to hate or like Lesnar.

It's kind of funny. I have no feelings towards the wrestlers but I (and the reader) hates every backstage figure there is.

11) Goldberg will job to Randy Orton and the Internet will implode due to the fact no one can agree if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

12) Ric Flair will have a second DVD. Unfortunately, the DVD is full of HHH best matches hosted by Flair.

13) The Rock will wrestle for a month in order to get it out of his system.

14) Kane will stop being angry and will start raising rabbits.

15) Trish Stratus will win the Women's Championship for the 15th time and wonder what is there left to do?

16) Shawn Michaels will wrestle a great match. Unfortunately, all his past sins and the fact he can draw will be brought up therefore making a good match into a horrible one.

17) Kanyon will be used in some capacity. (Maybe as a janitor in Titan Tower)

18) RVD will be fired after posting a negative column on 1wrestling.com 'How I have to lay down to HHH before RAW' by Mr. R?D.

19) Chris Benoit will not will a world title this year prompting Scott Keith to go on a hunger strike. It will last two minutes. Keith will then promise not to post on the Internet. That strike will last five minutes.

...and

20) Vince McMahon will pay the US government $20 million to have Hulk Hogan vs. Saddam Hussein. It will last 20 minutes and Sgt. Slaughter will run in but Saddam will win after Vince interferes. The crowd will rush Vince and that's the last time we'll see him.

Oh do shut up.

Why?

You people act like I don't have a fucking aweome record of predicting what this company will do, why it will do it and how it will.

I say at least 85 percent of what Jason said comes true.

Oh, my turn!

Edge will return and that will make the year automatically better than 2003. The end.

Okay, just kidding.

Jericho will turn face, but then turn back heel by the end of 2004 after WWE realizes that, hey, they don't have any good heels.

Benoit will get a nice little push for awhile, but will probably be back where he is by the end of 2004.

RVD will also get a push just before he signs his contract. And who knows, he might not be shoved back into midcard!

Edge will get a monster push. Woot!

Matt Hardy will get a solid push, transitioning nicely into 2005.

Eddie will stay in mid-card. Watch for him to be the US Champ most of the year.

Cena will get pushed into main events and be Brock's main rival in 2004. It will be like how Austin/Rock or Benoit/Angle has been...in other words, when the writers can't think of a feud, this will be it.

Lesner will continue to be a huge player on Smackdown.

HHH will also continue to be the main player on Raw.

Orton will stay around IC title level for awhile and may get a couple matches in main events, but not enough to be considered a main event player.

And I'm out.

2004 will be the year, where for better or for worse, the WWE pulls the trigger on the new OVW stars.

Edge will dethrone HHH and send GBerg packing in FGB's last WWE match.

Cena will win his first World Title at SummerSlam.

Orton will win at next year's Survivor Series.

Lesnar will continue to play a major role in storylines, and turn face late in the year.

Rob Conway will turn face and win the IC belt.

I actually think there will end up being some kind of mutiny where true wrestlers get sick of doing non-wrestling stuff and end up leaving the WW'E'. Ted Turner is said to still want to be in the wrestling owning bussiness so I feel he will join up with the elder Jarrett by giving him a cable contract. NWA-TNA goes on to TBS and TNT and earlier said wrestlers who want to actually wrestle will go over to Jarrett's promotion. I'm thinking Ultimo, Jericho, Benoit, and RVD being the major names. Without Bischoff in charge of giving out the paychecks the company will prosper and fans of wrestling will tune into that while fans of Sports Entertainment Soap Opera will tune into Vince's product.

Utter wishful thinking: Smackdown becomes the cruiser show I propsed earlier

Something approaching reality: The only cruiser with anything resembling a push will be Rey, but only as long as they can sell cardboard mask replicas, which they won't be able to do for long, because some dumb kid will try to eat it and there will be lawsuits galore leading to all masked wrestlers to be declared evil doers by George W. Bush and get deported.

Randy Orton will carry the dead corpse of Al Wilson to a ***** match, get a Hogan-at-WM18-level pop every time he enters the ring, and kick Raw ratings up to 7.3 every week, and the sheep will still baaa "suckbag"

Mark my words

Turner doesn't own TBS or TNT anymore, it is owned by Time Warner. Turner used to be merely a figurehead, now he is not even that, he sold his stock. He wanted to buy back the braves but did not have enough money.
