Guest SP-1 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 I demand more martial arts weaponry. The kitana was awesome in VC, but I want to throw down with a bo. I mean, beating the piss out of unsuspecting people with a big stick is awesome no matter how you look at it. . . . I mean, uh . . .

Guest Goodear Report post Posted January 6, 2004 I demand Mexicans on the street corners offering prostitue flyers on the Strip to passing males. Yeah, like they don't giver them to women... Seriously though, those guys and gals are the living embodiment of hard working people getting ahead in the world. They could just toss those cards in the gutter... but they're out there at every street corner... WORKING!
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 I like GTA3 & Vice city a lot but for me to go out and buy another GTA, there better be enough new stuff and different stuff about the game to make it worth while.
BX 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 I want the ability to hijack the airplanes and crash them into key Las Vegas landmarks. Hmm. Be right back, someone is knocking at my doo.... HELP. gwvw
Skywarp! 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 Is this one going to have a cute gimmick setting too, like the '90s or '70s? Blech.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 I'm pretty sure it will be a 1970's time frame.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 If so then I want to bury people in the desert.
The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 That article had it listed as "Grand Theft Auto IV: Sin City"... So does this mean that it will NOT be part of the Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City series?
Renegade 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 A crossbow would be so awesome
Guest Skironox Report post Posted January 6, 2004 Didn't a similar story to this come out last year and get proved to be a fraud? Maybe Rockstar took note of it and used it as their inspiration. If it's in the 1970's I demand that you play a bald sports reporter or his Samoan lawyer counterpart and there must be a mission where you take LSD. I will die a happy man if it even resembles Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2004 besides a tazer...i want a giant magnet that can rip the jewelry off of people in gruesome ways... like pulling big gold necklaces right through their neck... either that... or i want an Evil Knievel rocket bike... and maybe a way to pick people up once they are dead or knocked out... it'd be fun to just have your car or truck or hotel room filled with dead bodies that never seem to go away...and yet the police would never investigate... Note: Dead gaurds would also be good ways to block doors...(which is something else we need...doors that shut and can be barricaded for police shootouts and the like)
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 They could make the gambling an entire game of its own. What better place than a Vegas knock-off for a free form game?
Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted January 7, 2004 I hope there's a bunch of Elvis impersonators in the game. That would be AWESOME! Especially if in one mission, you disguise yourself as Elvis and cause a riot of Elvis impersoantors!
Anya 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Weak reporting by IGN here. It is NOT confirmed. Their source is Amazon's UK site putting it up. Rockstar has said nothing about it. There is no confirmation or anything. Very shoddy "journalism" by IGN, reminds me of a WWE newsboard.
BX 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Someone will confirm it soon.
El Psycho Diablo 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 The only questions are: What movie will Rockstar rip off this time? (VC had whole chunks of Scarface in it)..and will this be the most overhyped game in history?
The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 .. and will this be the most overhyped game in history? You betcha.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Who cares how hard it's hyped. At least for once a game that's hyped will...you know...not completely blow like Tomb Raider or the Matrix
El Psycho Diablo 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 Who cares how hard it's hyped. At least for once a game that's hyped will...you know...not completely blow like Tomb Raider or the Matrix Nah. It'll just be a slight improvement over the existing games, but still be "revolutionary", and "mind-blowing"..and be mentioned about five million times more than it deserves. And I'll STILL buy it the day it comes out and enjoy it like the total GTA mark that I am.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2004 There's a guy called Frank Miller who draws a comic called Sin City. He owns all copyright to use that name in video games. Thus, this is a fake. Or at least, the title isn't official. However, the original GTA featured Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas (San Francisco clone). Many players complained about how flat and boring Vice City was. San Francisco has a lot of hills. Rockstar opened up an office in San Francisco recently. Hmmm?
