Get ready for WWE weekend programming...

Velocity preview for Jan. 10, 2004

Velocity heats up this week as the jockeying for position to challenge the Basham Brothers continues. In the main event, the Self-Proclaimed World’s Greatest Tag Team will face Spanky & Paul London in a match that should help elevate the winner into a better position to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Who will gain the advantage? Watch Velocity to find out!

Also, Paul Heyman’s conquest will continue as Shannon Moore will once again face the challenge of a giant when he squares off with Matt Morgan. Moore has been resilient throughout Heyman’s effort – will he be able to overcome this challenge? Tune in to find out.

In other singles action, Funaki faces Rhyno and Billy Kidman will go up against Sakoda.

Velocity will also take a look back at SmackDown! when Los Guerreros suffered a split after Chavo attacked Eddie after their match against the Basham Brothers. And, see highlights from the Street Fight between Hardcore Holly and the Big Show.

All of this and more this week on Velocity at 10/9 CT on Spike TV!

Confidential preview for Jan. 10, 2003

This week, the Superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment made history yet again with the release of WWE Originals -- the first album to feature all original songs performed entirely by WWE Superstars. On Confidential, take a look behind the scenes at the making of this CD as Superstars such as Trish Stratus, the Dudley Boyz , Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Booker T, Stacy Keibler, Rikishi and Lita test their abilities to sing and perform for this album. See what went into making this CD on Confidential.

Speaking of behind the scenes, recently Brock Lesnar was featured on the cover of Flex Magazine. Confidential went to the photo shoot with the WWE Champion and will have for you a special look at all of the work that went into this very special magazine cover.

And, as usual, Confidential goes Outside the Ropes with a very special guest this week as Stone Cold Steve Austin is in the hot seat. See what Austin has to say when he goes Outside the Ropes on Confidential. All of this, and a classic match between the Texas Tornado and Mr. Perfect from SummerSlam 1990 on Confidential at 11/10 CT on Spike TV!

Just a note: Depending on the result of tonight's game, the recap will be either me overrating the segments and liberally adding pictures of the Flying Elvis, or it will be one of the most bitter recaps ever.

Which one do YOU want to see?

Wow, the TV version of WGTT / Spanky-London happened almost exactly like I saw at the house show except London botched his crucifix rollover Sunday night.

Stacy sounds great, well at least in her song anyway. Trish sounds horrible. Dudleyz sounds promising. Rey sounds okay. Rikishi and his song frightens me and Jericho's theme sounds awesome, he should come out to it.

Man, I agree with you on Jericho(who sounds the best, by FAR), and Rikishi(puh-lease! ewww eww ewww), and even Rey.

But, Stacy sounded terrible. So much over-production, that proves she evidently can't really carry a note(see Spears, Britney). Trish had a good voice, with a solid tone, and not too much of that vibrato-American-Idol sound. And the Dudey Boyz sounded gawd awful, IMHO

From what I remember Von Erich was in a motorcycle crush sometime before he joined the WWF and mess up his leg and thus one was shorter then the other.

He had the prosthetic foot the whole time in WWF and didn't tell anyone cause he thought the fed would fire him if they found out.

That's from what I remember.

Austin said he would give his last Stunner to Goldberg on OTR. Maybe he's trying to hint at us about something.
