LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 How about in Haf Baked, It took me about the 3rd time watching to notice this. In the beginning of the movie when it shows the kid versions of the stars wlaking into the store to buy candy and stuff you see Brian with a tye dye shirt..........when he's leaving the store and walks into the window he has a completely different shirt on, different colors, different pattern. Wow, that's the whole point. Brian walked into the store not high, then became high so he had a tye-dye shirt on because he was high. Yeah, nice try buddy......it'd be a valid point if it weren't for the fact that he went INTO the store with a tye dye shirt. Doesn't make as much sense now does it? Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 During "Becoming Pt 2" on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, when Buffy and Angel are fighting, there is an overhead shot. You can clearly tell that it isn't Angel, the stuntmen has half of the hair Angel does. You could make a whole different thread on just Buffy goofs. In "The Gift" when Doc throws Spike off the tower, "Spike" goes from having black pants and boots to having jeans and white shoes
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted January 12, 2004 Friday the 13th films up until recently were produced on budgets of like $20 and some food stamps, give'em a break. I mean if you're going to talk about them talk about the Evil Dead which is basically a 2hr blooper with a plot
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted January 12, 2004 Since all the good movies have been said, there's a goof up in the Goonies that was mentioned in the Audio Commentary on DVD, where the person playing Mikey (Sean Astin I think) calls Brand (Josh Brolin?) his real name in the basement of the restaurant the Fratelli's are hiding in. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 Friday the 13th films up until recently were produced on budgets of like $20 and some food stamps, give'em a break. I mean if you're going to talk about them talk about the Evil Dead which is basically a 2hr blooper with a plot Hey, you can't down a movie that has a scene with a woman being violated by a tree. That takes GUTS. Best way to watch that film? With the ladies of Evil Dead talking about it and pointing out the errors. And the Buffy mistakes? How about Sarah's stunt person weighing about 30 more noticable pounds than her in the final two seasons. That was hilarious The best error was in MI2 when one of the men Tom Cruise killed, somehow came back to life and drove in a car after him. I couldn't stop laughing at that. Guest DVD Spree Report post Posted January 12, 2004 I can't BELIEVE no-one's mentioned this. In Return of The Jedi when the Rebels finally total the super Star Destroyer, when they're celebrating on the ship and the camera focuses on Admiral Akbar you can clearly hear one of the extras shout out "Die dickheads!" in the background. I love London movie extras.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 In Jurassic Park when the T-Rex breaks out of the fence the lawyer jumps out of the car and runs to hide in the bathroom. Well he leaves the door open, because the kids close it and the T-Rex notices them. Well it shows Dr. Grant watching the car just after the guy has taken off and before the girl closes it.....but the door is closed in that scene.....then a few scenes later the girl closes it and alerts the T-Rex. notJames 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 Gandalf knocking his head on the beam in the Fellowship was a pretty good goof too. If you mean the part at the beginning where he bumps his head in Bilbo's house, I think that was used to illustrate just how much taller he is than the Hobbits. Hence, no gaff, just a simple sight gag. If you're talking about another scene, I don't remember it.

Actually, according to the DVD commentary, it was a goof, but one that McKellan kept on playing his part so it made sense.

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 (edited) That midget hanging himself was a swan/large bird flapping it's wings. I've deproved this at numerous parties/family gatherings. nope not true. this isn't one of those urban legends it is legit. Although it wasn't a midget commiting suicide like everyone has been saying lately, he just got caught in the lighting wiring and was hung, it is legit though, I will try and find a press release. Oh come on.....you can clearly tell it's a bird if you go back and look at it. In fact if you look close enough you can see the other wing flap too. On top of that you can see the freakin bird if you look even closer!!! Plus the fact that if it's someone hanging they would have to be pretty far away to look that small. And it's a freakin painted backdrop!! How can you be far away....in a backdrop? Someone made a press release to keep the urban legend alive because it's fun....or the press release is a hoax. WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 In Ocean's Eleven when Linus (Matt Damon) is explaining Benedict's (Andy Garcia) day to Rusty (Brad Pitt), watch the plate of shrimp in Rusty's hand. It goes from a flat plate to a Shrimp coctail bowl, and back to a flat plate. Quite amusing how in one of the most integral scenes of the movie (right when Rusty finds out about Tess (Julia Roberts) being involved with Benedict), they couldn't be bothered enough to make sure they had the same plate in the scene. That made me remember the goof in Pretty Woman when she's eating breakfast. Julia goes back and forth between eating a rolled up pancake and a big croissant pretty randomly. Ford was having difficulty using the whip, and the scene was re-shot to accomodate this Actually, the way I heard it was that Ford was sick that day on the set with a high fever and came up with that gag so he wouldn't have to do the long fight scene. From all I've read he became very proficient with the whip by the end of filming.
Guest Mosaicv2 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 in Evil Dead... thanx to DVD audio commentary... as the other guy not Bruce beeps his horn to check it... two hicks wave at him (who are actually the director & producer) the guy tells him to fuck off... as they head to the cabin they have to cross a weak bridge, but on the right side you can see one of the hicks standin there... wow bad shot or he can sure run fast woo

Die Hard: When Bruce Willis kills the first terrorist by tackling him down a flight of stairs, Bruce's stunt double has substantially more hair. Also, when Willis is on top of the building with the helicopter sniper "shooting" at him, you can clearly see the capsules that make the bullet effect as Bruce is running. Steve J. Rogers 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2004 In Suburban Commando two different actresses played Christopher Lloyd's teenage daughter. I know people aren't gonna see a Hulk Hogan movie but you should think somebody would notice their were two different actresses. Now THATS hard to do in a movie production. What was the reason? Were they too cheap not to reshoot the scenes the way 99.9% of other movie productions are done? Steve

Guest Goodear Report post Posted January 13, 2004 F13 pt 2. When a girl is looking for her dog in the woods, she looks RIGHT INTO THE CAMERA for a good 6 seconds. That was intentional as they were doing a phoney Point of View shot where it made you think that Jason was stalking the chick as a psyche out. That's why the camera was 'hiding' behind the trees and stuff. In 'Dude Where's My Card' both guys where turning at the same time and I think William-Scott NAILED Ashton in the face with an elbow and sent him scrambling. It was one of those things that you won't pick up on unless you listen to the commentary track, but you'll always notice every time thereafter.

Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 13, 2004 Mark Hamill shouts 'CARRIE!' when Lea runs to meet him after the X wing battle also.
