Guest The Ohtani of Time Report post Posted January 16, 2004 A friend of mine thinks that this is one of the better shows on tv, I think he's out of his mind. I used to like it......when I was 8. Any thoughts?
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted January 16, 2004 I love The A-Team, but it's nowhere near one of the best shows on TV. Out of the two major 80's action shows for kids The A-Team wasn't even the best one, Dukes of Hazzard was.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Those men had the worst aim of anyone in history But that Mr. T is hella tough
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted January 16, 2004 I'm a fan of the A-Team. The charisma of all the team members do it for me. Murdoch, Face, B.A., and Hannibal are all more interesting charactors than most other shows on TV and that alone makes the show more watchable than most others to me. A new adventure every week complete with wrestlers making guest appearances every once in a while makes it all the more enjoyable. Right now, the plot line of Stockwell holding the A-Team prisoners has got me hooked to the screen as I find it a nice incentive to watch since I want to see if the A-Team will ever be truly free. Just a good, fun show overall.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted January 16, 2004 They weren't there to hurt people, they were there to fix problems in the most peaceful way possible. The bad guys would never go peacefully, so they had to apply some non deadly force to convince them. and their plans always came together :smokes a cigar:
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Just like wildpegasus said the team had great charisma and the actors did their roles to the T. It was just a good fun show and one of my favorite shows of all time.
Guest The Ohtani of Time Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Wildpegasus, I can't believe this, I had a lot of respect for you as an Astroboy fan, but now I'm not so sure. Just out of curiousity, did anyone have an A-Team action figure when they were younger, their heads were really squishy if I remember correctly.

You'll have my respect for eternity because you're an Astroboy fan (which automatically shows you're a great guy) so don't take this the wrong way but "I pity the fool who wrote that message" OWNED -- Turn out the lights, the party's over! Yep I did I had to different kinds. The big kind with the squishy heads. And the smaller kind that had the limbs had by rubber bands.

Brush with Greatness 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 I loved the A-Team but I don't think the show has stood the test of time as well as some others. However, the intro still kicks all kinds of ass. And on the action figure note, I indeed had all the action figures (the smaller GI Joe type ones) and the fucking van. And anyone else remember Mr. T's other show, T n' T?
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 I had an A-Team "Matchbox" die-cast van, along with the Dukes and Knight Rider. Good times...
MrRant 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Anyone seen "Mr T's Be somebody or be somebody's fool?" Great movie. T even break dances.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted January 16, 2004 I had the figure sized A-Team van...were they metal or plastic? I also had figure sized General Lee, KITT and the Starksy and Hutch car just to name a few.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Basically every episode had the same exact premise, and yes the aim was horrible.
Si82 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 The A-Team has one of the greatest theme songs ever. WTF is wrong with you? Damn right! Mind you I haven't seen the A-Team in years but last time I did it still rocked! Anyone remember the Mr. T cartoon? Now that was crap.
C Dubya 04 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem. If no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire, The A Team. That's all I have to say about this one.
Zorin Industries 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Don't know if this is true or not, but I remember hearing somewhere that the A-Team were orginally supposed to kill people, but that Mr. T said no, as hr thought it would be a bad example to kids. Anyone else heard that one?

WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Anyone remember the Mr. T cartoon? Now that was crap. A friend of mine used to have this beta tape with a preview for all the cartoons coming out on NBC that year, 1984 maybe? One was the Mr. T cartoon and the clip showed him punching out a shark. Classic shit.
Brush with Greatness 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 Anyone else remember the Mr. T cereal? I recall it vaguely, and if memory serves, I think it was just a rip off of Cap'n Crunch. Still, it was uber cool due to T's presence.
