What is the lamest and/or worst move in the WWE...

Recommended Posts

Guest edge007

I've got a couple to start off...

1. Stinkface - I mean, really....nuff said.

2. Palumbo's Jungle Kick - Wow, originality PLUS!

3. Clothesline from hell

4. World's Strongest Slam

5. When he was around, Road Dogg's old Jabs (even though they popped the crowd)

'The Worm'. Well actually I don't mind it as a move, I just hate it as a finisher.

9) The Belly-To-Belly Suplex (overhead throwing version) - Now I'm not specifically speaking of the Rock's version of it, but I remember a time when that move literially was killer and could be accepted most likely a finisher back in the day, as the impact and selling of it were as if you had your lower spine surgically removed. Nowadays, it doesn't even get people on their fucking back for move than five seconds.

10) The German Suplex - Ever since the inception of the multiple German suplex being dished out, not only has this move been reduced to a transitory move, but multiple ones just kill a single one into being anything better than a "spot". This move was once a deadly force in the WWE, but now, it's pretty much like a couple of stringed clothslines. The 10 German suplex in Edmonton, Alberta that started this horrific trend was when this move absolutely began looking like shit.

1.Bronco Buster-Ouch that gotta hurt, your humping your opponent chest.

2.619-It may not be a easy move to do but when he slows down it's easily to see that he doesn't have that much strenth to even knock their teeth out,or even leave a mark.

3.Crazy Legs-I have all day,Im just gona wobble my legs all the way down to the other side of the ring and just drop my knee.

4.Shattered Dreams-If you gona kick the man hammer do it quicky, don't wait 40 seconds. It's lame because the man can move out of the way or put his hands infront of his hammer.I rather get my hand kicked, wouldn't you?

The chick kick.

How about we just make it any type of kick BESIDES the SCM?

As no WWE wrestler has that great of one, besides Michaels. ...and Tajiri. I forget him so easily.

(Edit: Shit, I correct myself.)

OH and just for Anglesault:

The RKO - Till Randy gets it so that it looks impactful, the move will just look like a cheap rip off of the Diamond Cutter.

The Diamond Cutter was put over so much by the announcers "It can come from anywhere!" that it was made to be a deadly finisher. The RKO is half-assed, but there's no comparing the two as the RKO is not nearly as hyped as the DC was.

Worst non-gimmick finisher has to be the choke slam.

The catapult: It's not realistic in the least, especially when the victim clearly jumps.

Stratusfaction: When you're opponent has to carry you, you might want to look for a new move.

Bubba bomb: How could it hurt the opponent any more than Bubba?

Scissors kick: Come on, Book, use the harlem hangover.

Anything by Torrie Wilson: self-explanatory.

Nothing compares to the people's elbow. Nothing's even close. The move's horrendous because it's a 100% joke move. It's the ultimate symbol of what's wrong with the WWE -- people popping for the breaking of kayfabe in wrestling.

Litasault- Yeah, just falling off the top will get them.

Cade/Jindrak finisher- WOW! A dropkick in the air!

Benoit diving headbutt- Seems like he hurts himself more than he hurts his opponent.

Spinebusters: Now, I don't mind a good spinebuster, but everybody does it so sloppy.

gotta agree there, the one good Spine buster I seen was Arn Anderson's from WM5 where he caught the guy coming off the ropes and Did the full turn before dumping him, looked real crisp and a Finisher canadate.

but now people dont even do the turn and just dump them from the front .

But the people's elbow is the Great Muta Elbow isn't it?

I've always thought it was a half-assed version of Muta's crazy elbow, myself

Stratusfaction: When your opponent has to carry you...

You could apply that to the entire match

Steve Austin did Arn's version of the SpineBuster when he first came over to the WWF. Levesque did it as well until he got mega-built and couldn't walk properly let alone Spinebuster somebody.

I always loved Savage's Elbow Drop...he always landed on the breast bone which made it look like it really hurt.

Only Terry Funk can do this move correctly.

WORST MOVE EVER is teh Mark Henry NO-SELL. In the past 2 matches with Mark in the 2nd hour he has no-sold the Vandaminator and leg work from Jericho to do his glorified slam to win.

I don't think Mark Henry no-selling can be considered a move, its just the fact that he sucks as far as ring psychology goes.

3. Clothesline from hell

I don't have a problem with this. I can buy it as a finisher, but only because of Stan Hansen. Of course, Bradshaw is no Hansen.

Cade/Jindrak finisher- WOW! A dropkick in the air!

Agreed. They need to ditch it and go with the super hot shot they used on Heat recently, which is at least better than the dropkick finishers.

Speaking of the dropkick, how about when Holly was using it as a finisher?

The Dudley Dog is horrible. As is the Stratusfaction.

Jumping Jim Brunzell had a great dropkick which was pretty believable for a finisher.

That's the thing about finishers/moves.

The person doing them has to make the move seem believable, otherwise doing the move is pointless. This also applies to the person doing the selling of the move as well.

...that doesn't take away from crappy moves that just are crappy, I'm just saying that the (for lack of a better word) crispness of a move needs to be there in order for it to be believed in it being something more than ordinary.

No, Muta's elbow is a lot more impressive and is a thing of beauty. Same with Benoit. I'm not sure how well Muta uses it these days but whenever I saw him do it he's use a great "spin" on the motion down and hits it with a lot more velocity. He also doesn't use it as a possable finisher. The Rock meanwhile wastes tons of times positioning his opponent's arms, than flaps his arms around, throws his elbow pad into the crowd, runs over his opponent for no reason but to be funny and than finally hits the elbow which is of course purposely done with the least possable looking impact. Sure, some people like the move because they find it entertaining but that doesn't make it any less lame.

I know he did hurt people in WCW with it.

1) The Worm. Yeah, a chop to the throat would hurt, but not enough to beat you. And you certainly wouldn't wait for Scotty to finish arseing around and get to you.

2) The People's Elbow. It's a fucking elbow drop.

3) Rock's Sharpshooter. I could do a better version, I'm pretty sure, but that's just a poorly executed move rather than a really bad one.

4) The RKO. Sloppy As Fuck. Orton should sit and watch DDP matches and then figure out how to make the Diamond Cutter look crisp whilst running, cos he ain't got it yet.

5) The Lionsault. It's a moonsault from lower down, which means less impact, and it's meant to be a finisher?

6) All the super kicks. Just stop it! It seems that no-one can win a match on Velocity or Smackdown without kicking someone in the head! Leave it to Michaels and Tajiri to do that.
