2GOLD Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Basically Half Time is not in the NFL's hands, its AOL or whomever is sponsoring/televising the darn thing and I guess they gave Puff Daddy, Janet and Kid ROck free reign Oh really? Tell that to U2
Steve J. Rogers Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Another rumor going around was that J-Lo and P-Diddy would reuinte tonight on stage
2GOLD Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Maybe the should bring out R. Kelly and Michael Jackson to hug on stage
Youth N Asia Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 They need to bring back Halftime Heat

Tell that to U2 I didn't follow the politics of that, but my guess is that whomever is sponsoring this didn't feel that this was the year for political statements. Bono should have done it in 2002 when he had the chance!
Big McLargeHuge Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 So these ridiculous halftime shows are supposed to attract viewers, right?

No, the NFL told MTV and AOL they did not want U2 at halftime as they didn't feel they should be using it to make a political statement MTV and AOL approved the appearance.
Lightning Flik Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 So these ridiculous halftime shows are supposed to attract viewers, right? Meh... I'm watching it...
Guest Anglesault Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 When did Janet start to look like Michael?
Steve J. Rogers Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 They need to bring back Halftime Heat That is the sad part of Viacom owning both CBS and Spike TV The first year that MTV took over Heat CBS had the Super Bowl so they didn't do it that year, and I guess WWE just dropped the whole concept since Real shame Steve
Youth N Asia Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Puff Daddy sucks a monkey's left nut
Cartman Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 2Pac and Notorious B.I.G are gonna be the guests...

Don't ask how MJ would slip past them though, if MJ is in fact the surprise
2GOLD Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 The NFL has a sniper ready if they even see MJ start to rise.

But you were already watching the game. I'm too lazy to change the channel. Well so am I. I lost my remote. Even though I'm only a few feet away from the TV. My room's quite small.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Hey Kid Rock, your hepatitis filled floatation device is calling you...get off the damn stage.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Good Lord. This is supposed to attract viewers? I suppose half the NFL viewers are the idiots who think this is good music. Outkast is good. Everybody else... awful.
