Guest Mosaicv2 Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 tonites the nite of all the specualtin of Jonny Fairplay & ICPs appearance... wat all of you posters here at the Smartmarks forum think of the show? hit or miss? because it seems tat TNA has been missin tis year
Styles Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 Match wise there's not much that sounds like it's going to surpass **, but angle wise this should be a big show. I predict a show with no memorable matches but a very entertaining night of angles.
Jingus Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 I'll be there live... but looking at the card, it'll be more for hanging out with some friends than actually watching the show.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 I've been enjoying the storylines alot lately. But none of the feuds are set up for real good matches. They've gotten more out of Kash/Vaughn and Gilberti & Young/Diamon & Swinger than I thought possible. And how cool was the almost XXX reunion? I wish Mantel would use his powers for good instead of evil. Write me something that involves a nice long Sabin/Juvi feud or something.
Guest vicvenomjr Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 because it seems tat TNA has been missin tis year *****you're an idiot. Watch the show before casting judgement.
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 because it seems tat TNA has been missin tis year *****you're an idiot. Watch the show before casting judgement. um... i do anti traditionalist aka Russo mark
Styles Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 because it seems tat TNA has been missin tis year *****you're an idiot. Watch the show before casting judgement. I've ordered every show and a self admitted mark for TNA but even I can admit that the shows have really missed this year. There has not been a real blowaway show in a long while.
Michrome Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 I can only imagine how badly buyrates are slipping, judging just by the slowdown in this forum. A few months ago, in November, this place was a hotbed, but now it's practically dead thanks to uninspiring shows, bad matches, and pathetic angles.
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 man Michrome... tat sounds depressin
Guest Boomer Sprinklespax Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 (edited) Don't forget about BALLS~! I always liked him. Speaking of, something struck me when I heard about ICP's possible involvement... Raven was in a stable at the end of his WCW run called the Deadpool, which consisted of himself, ICP, and Vampiro. Following Raven's leave from WCW, he worked indies as well as ECW. I am lucky (unlucky?) enough to have Juggalo Championshit Wrestling Volume I on tape. At the end of that show, both Raven and Balls run in to protect ICP from a beatdown whilst the announcers scream about the formation of Deadpool 2000. Perhaps TNA is setting up for another new version of the Deadpool to consist of the core group of ICP and Raven. Balls, Vampiro, or even Sandman could also be added to this group. I know a lot of people would hate that, but I would kinda dig it. As long as Vampiro isn't brought in, anyways. Edited January 21, 2004 by DropToeHoldOntoChair
tpww7 Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 Bold Prediction.... This show will SUCK.
Jebus Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 I usually come here for up to date results but... Sadly, I can't find another website with Live coverage
Guest vicvenomjr Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Where's the Franklin High geek......
JoeDirt Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Wow...hope this isn't representative of the buyrate...
tpww7 Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 This board is fucking gay, about 100 fatal errors before I could get to the thread.... gathering over balls/sandman, diamond/swinger over gilberti/young next week: watts vs callis, loser must resign. jerry lynn is captain of US X-cup team, other members are sabin, elix, & dutt. gilberti said one member of S&S signed kash's loyalty contract, and one didn't. JJ is forcing kash to get siaki to sign the loyalty thing tonight.trinity signed the loyalty contract. Now it's siaki vs D Lo Brown.
tpww7 Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 I hope it represents the buyrate, Present a lineup like this and they DESERVE IT.
JoeDirt Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Jerry Lynn coming back? Didn't expect that.
Michrome Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 This company is so dead in the water.
tpww7 Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 I'll still stand by October as the death of TNA.
Brocklock Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 D'lo just beat Siaki, Trinity then turns on Siaki and says she's still with Jarrett. This has been by far the worst TNA show that I have ever saw.
tpww7 Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 D-Lo wins with a Sky-High, kash & trinity worked together to punk out siaki...announcers were actually talking about their history. of course, trinity walked off later
Guest vicvenomjr Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 This company is so dead in the water. *****Funny that those in the know (IWC show reviewers) have praised the first two shows. Which were also both better than either showing of Raw or Smackdown, but they're dead in the water. Right.
tpww7 Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 AAA x-cup: juvi, aguila, hector garza, and a 4th guy whcih I'm unsure of. And Vic, your humor is great, keep it coming.
Tawren Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 This company is so dead in the water. *****Funny that those in the know (IWC show reviewers) have praised the first two shows. Which were also both better than either showing of Raw or Smackdown, but they're dead in the water. Right. Wow. Better than Raw or Smackdown? That's impressive.
Michrome Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Funny that those in the know (IWC show reviewers) have praised the first two shows. Which were also both better than either showing of Raw or Smackdown, but they're dead in the water. Right. I'd rather step on dry shit than wet shit, but then again, I'd rather not step on shit at all. Nobody is buying these shows, the matches are terrible (save MAYBE one per show), everything is based around Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles is beyong buried, CM Punk is being horribly wasted, and the X Division is nowhere near what it once was. I blame Hogan.
Guest vicvenomjr Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Wow. Better than Raw or Smackdown? That's impressive. *****what else should it be compared to?
Tawren Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Wow. Better than Raw or Smackdown? That's impressive. *****what else should it be compared to? Something GOOD?
bob_barron Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Saying it's better then RAW and SD! doesn't mean much since- RAW and SD!= free TNA= $10. So TNA SHOULD be better then RAW and SD!
