Raw Tag Division

with the exception of the Dudleys none of these teams actually work well together.

Flair and Batista? Flair shouldn't be wrestling anymore let alone holding (what should be) a major title and Batista should be going through wrecking ball mode.

Cade and Jindrak? How about Jindrak and O'Haire since they've worked together in the past and know how to complement one another's style. Cade would make a good old school jobber, gives up a good fight but in the end he can't beat anybody.

La Resistance is ok but nothing special at the moment.

Helms and Rosey suck horribly.

Test and Steiner don't click.

Vince should just go out and hire Rick Steiner and pair him up with Scott since they can actually work together. I'm not a big fan of the Dudley Bros but I could get pretty pumped up for a Steiners/Dudleys match-up.

A tag division of Steiner Bros, Jindrak & O'Haire, Dudleys, La Resistance would be better than what they have right now.

Stevie Ray is nowhere near ring shape last time I saw him.

I would love for Booker to turn Heel and have Teddy Long manage both Booker T and Mark Henry. With a combined effort Teddy Long and Booker T could make Mark Henry look good enough where a Tag Title pursuit wouldn't be out of the question. They could end things with Henry giving the World's Strongest Slam followed up with Booker doing the (changing the name for gimmik purposes) Harlem Held-Down/Held-Down Hangover

That would be fun and all, but I hate it when WWE makes partners out of two guys who have been feuding. Classic examples: Test and Steiner, Austin and Triple H.

It would make sense though. Teddy Long can show him how when Austin was in charge who got the chances? Not the black man. Stuff like that. I don't feel like writing an intricate plot where it could be done, but I'm telling ya it...it could work.

It would work if Booker T were to treat Mark Henry like the shit under his shoe. Then the crowd might start waiting for the obviously stronger Mark Henry to do something about it but wait in week and week out as Booker T is a jerk to him. It would be like Tazz/Austin in 2001, except this time there is actually something resembling a pay-off.

How does Booker-T treating Mark Henry like shit make them into a good Tag Team? I think you fucked up somewhere along your posting.

I just wish we had more, well, tag teams. Not two guys put together just for the heck of having a team, but rather, a team made up of two guys who are a solid combination where the tag team division is their career.

Demolition, The Road Warriors, The Hart Foundation, and on and on and on.

I'm not saying they need to always be a team forever, just, you know, actual tag teams. As far as I'm concerned, they can just do away with the division if they aren't going to do this. I hate when they pair two people just for the hell of it.

I like La Resistance, TWGTT, and that sort of thing, but even THOSE teams aren't really in the spotlight right now. I mean, WTF?

I know everyone here HATES them, but I'd be very happy if they put the New Age Outlaws back together, and just had them be a tag team again, and have them do ONLY that.

I just want tag teammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmms!

But that would mean no chance of a Billy and Chuck reunion :P

Heck, I'd take Billy/Chuck right now, I liked them together. I'd love a 3 Count reunion also, that would be a great underdog team to work with.

I just don't want teams like Flair/Batista, Test/Steiner, and crap like that.

If anything, Raw and Smackdown should just consolidate the divisons into one,

Ship Dudleys, La Resistance,Cade/Jindrak, Storm/Venis, Hurricane/Rosey over to Smackdown.

Put Hurricane back in the CW's where he belongs and stick the Samoan Connection together.

Storm/Venis Vs W.G.T.T can carry the divison, Dudleys can feud with the Bashams and get them over a little...

The Tag scene would be this

W.G.T.T (Champions)

Dudleys

APA

Bashams

Storm/Venis

Samoan Connection

Yang/Sakuda

Palumbo/Stamboli

Conway and Dupree

Mark Jindrak and Sean O Haire (can Cade)

Kidman/Mysterio (Part time connection)

Helms/Moore (part time)

I wouldn't mind seeing Helms and Moore team up again, I enjoyed their work in WCW. What about the old team of Noble & Tajiri or Rey & Kidman or push Venis & Storm up to Raw rather then making them Heat fodder?

God, I wish there was a payoff to that Austin/Tazz story.

As for the topic, I think the Dudleyz desperately need to step out of the tag title picture. I'm not saying split them up again (because the last time was just terrible), but give them a feud with a team that doesn't involve the titles. I know a feud with Cade and Jindrak was teased, but did that ever go anywhere? Put those 4 in a story together and put Cade and Jindrak over.

Until Grenier (sp?) gets back, split La Resistance up into singles action. Conway and Dupree's characters just don't mesh well in my eyes. Besides, I think testing the waters with Dupree on his own is a good idea considering his charisma.

I say give the ball to Storm and Venis and let them run with it. Both can wrestle pretty well and have the ability to elicit crowd response, and an eventual Lance Storm heel turn practically writes itself.

I'd put these teams together, and I think it wouldn't be too bad

O'Haire and Jindrak

Storm and Venis

Mack and Henry

Shane Helms and Steven Richards

Sylvian Grenier and Rob Conway

Richards can be on TV more but not in a tag team format. He's always been a good jobber too.

Tommy Dreamer & Stevie Richards with Victoria could be the greatest team ever. Tommy could yell R-A-W while Victoria could be crazy and evil along with wacky Stevie.

Yet you want to bring in *RICK STEINER*?

Nah. Dupree/Conway is so much better than Dupree/Grenier. Breaking them up and making Dupree a single would be a mistake at this point. He's only, what, 20? He's still too young & inexperienced to push as a single right now.

My suggestion: team up O'Haire/Kanyon and move them to Raw. No need to break up Jindrak/Cade.

That would rule. I don't like it if Victoria would just be a valet, but as long as she still wrestles its a cool idea. I like Stevie, and since he won't be getting a singles push, this would be a good way to use him.

Ugh, Grenier sucks. Wait until he gets back, send him to OVW (like that ever helped many people) and give him one more chance to prove he isn't worthless. If he's still worthless, fire him already.

Of course, a lot of these ideas are good, and they would be excellent if used and if WWE would stress the importance of tag teaming chemistry. A tag team should be greater than the sum of its parts. If two top stars with no tag experience face a top tag team with years of experience, realistically the tag team SHOULD win. That's something I disliked about some of the "Superteams" we got once in a while, like the Power Trip and Rock n' Sock (although Rock and Foley did have great chemistry together on the mic and worked well together in the ring).

Also, while fun to watch, TLC matches shouldn't have been for the tag team titles, since they...you know...didn't involve any tag teaming.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is WWE's plan. To my knowledge, they have made no mention of Grenier since he left, and have practically acted as if La Resistance has comprised of just Conway and Dupree the entire time.

I do like both Conway and Dupree. I agree they do have a long way to go in the ring, but both seem very comfortable working the mic (which is really what matters most to me in the end).
