Mole 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 Well it IS a AOL News (CNN) and Time website. Bias? I wouldn't rule it out. Could be. Democrats may jump off the Dean bandwagon and onto the Kerry bandwagon now. He served in a war, so the GOP can't call him unpatriotic or a "draft dodger." He also has served in office before, unlike Clark. I could see Kerry appealing to the center. For a while, my vote was more towards Dean than Kerry. For one thing, I didn't know too much about Kerry because the media wasn't giving him too much press, none that I saw anyway. Plus the fact that Dean was govenor of VT and I have spent a good amount of time in VT. However after seeing the news and reading about Dean's campaign, my vote was split between the two. Then Dean had that HORRIBLE speech, with him pulling a Macho Man, it was a wrap for him. Plus the fact that Kerry matches my views more than Dean does, my vote goes for Kerry. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 This second poll is a little crazy. I've taken it before with several others and we agreed it tended to favor Dean for almost everybody who wasn't blatantly Republican.

Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 Sure, allow them to suffer by forming friendships, getting visits from the outside world, cable TV, sports teams and weight training and other recreations and in some cases probation. Fuck that. If you willingly take another life you don't deserve to live and I don't want any of my tax dollars going to maintaining any type of standard of living for you. Conversely, while I support the death penalty in special cases, I tend to support life sentences for people who cause harm or death (again, depends on the situation, maybe not if the case of death) while simply parole'ing others. If we didn't keep hauling people to jail for smoking pot, we'd have more room for wifebeaters, thugs, and murderers.

Bush - 100% Lieberman - 43% Edwards - 38% Kerry - 31% Clark - 31% Dean - 30% Sharpton - 18% Kucinich - 15% No surprises, although I'm surprised Lierberman was below 50%. I guess he's not as far to the right as I thought. And the second (and weaker) quiz......... 1. Your ideal theoretical candidate. (100%) 2. Bush, President George W. - Republican (84%) 3. Libertarian Candidate (66%) 4. Lieberman, Senator Joe, CT - Democrat (38%) 5. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (30%) 6. Kucinich, Rep. Dennis, OH - Democrat (29%) 7.
