snuffbox 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2004 Anybody here watch this dvd? Its a Talking Heads concert directed by Johnathon Demme. I wasnt really a big fan at all, but I was given this as a gift. Now Im a huge mark for the Talking Heads. This concert/dvd is beyond awesome. Any other thoughts/opinions? -edit- seems i forgot the letter 's' in the title
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2004 I attended a screening of this a few years back. Really good stuff, but odd at the same time. I liked how they kept changing the lineup on stage as the concert continued.

5_moves_of_doom 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2004 Great, great concert. Really like the version of "Burning Down the House," the acoustic number at the beginning called "Heaven," and of course, the appearance of the Tom Tom Club (whose live version of "Genius of Love" is way better than the overdone studio version, in my opinion.) Only one or two throwaway songs, and the extra interview with David Byrne is very... interesting, as well. Anyhow, if they ever rereleased it on the big screen or had a showing of it somewhere, I'd be there in a heartbeat -- I'd imagine that experiencing the movie in a theater would make it all the more awesome.
