This is a badly contructed poll because Bush's Democratic challenger hasn't bee decided yet. I will vote for Lieberman in the primaries and on the very slim chance he wins the nomination will again in the general election. But if anyone else gets the nomination (which is most likely) then I will vote for Bush.

Since Lieberman has such a small chance of winning the nomination I'll assume the likely scenario and go for Bush in this poll.

Didn't Dames freeze on new posters until April or something?

Yeah.

But looks like this guy has been saving this one since October.

I don't get the love for Kerry. To me he seems like the weakest of the remaining major candidates (Dean, Lieberman, Edwards). His stances on the issues are incredibly vague, he flip flops on those same issues constantly, and he looks like Lurch from the Adam's Family. Who would want to vote for a guy that is against the war, but voted for it? And who would want a guy that would defend that stance with fence riding resonses like "Bush tricked me" or "I was under the impression that we were going to do it THIS way......" Why vote for a guy that is so easily "tricked?" Who wants a fence rider?

If I was a Democrat (or worse) I'd either be for Dean (minus his insanity, of course) or Lieberman. At least with those two you can get a feel for where they are politically. They flip flop on the issues sometimes, but you at least can pinpoint where they're coming from philosophically. With Kerry? The guy is all over the place. He could be a centrist, a communist, or god only knows. What's the appeal of this guy. Is it the hair? Is it the jaw?

Lieberman isn't going to get a vote from me.

A) He hasn't done anything for CT

B) He believes that videogames/movies/TV are responisble for violence in this country

C) He supported the War

C) He supported the War

So did Kerry.

Not only did he support it, but now Kerry is whining that he got railroaded into supporiting the war because of Bush's trickery. I mean, what a dork. Are you for the war or against it John? And who really wants a president that can be so easily bamboozled by Bush?

Actually, his flipflopping is a little bit more than just that.

First, he voted on the war. Then, he came out against the war when it happened. Then, in a debate not long after Baghdad fell, he mentioned that he voted for the war. Then, as people kept dying, he focused on his dislike for the war. Finally, right after Saddam got caught, he came out and lambasted Dean for his dislike of the war, and then, while campaigning in Iowa, he again stated that he was against the war.

This is so overrated. He's not going to take away your video games and wretling as president, promise! He would need Congress to do that and they won't. All politicians are against violence in the media, Joe just happens to be more vocal than others. It's really not what you should be basing your vote on. Now, you said you were against the war, so I guess there isn't much I can do about that...

I'm still undecided. Like some people have already stated, Kerry keeps flip flopping on the issues, so it's hard to really figure out just where he really stands. I was leaning towards Dean, and still kinda am. I honestly don't know enough about Edwards except for the fact that he's southern. Lieberman is far too moderate. Apparently my political beliefs best mirror those of Kucinich, but a lot of people seem to think of him as being a "wacky liberal" therefore he's totally unelectable.
