So Post away when something comes in!

Major Goldberg/Brock Angle Likely For No Way Out

WMXX match looking more likely...

It is expected that WWE will run a major angle involving Brock Lesnar and Goldberg at the No Way Out PPV on February 15th. This should set up a WrestleMania XX match between the two. The match has been rumored on and off for months.

Seems like something we all knew already by watching RAW lol.

I can't wait to see all the non-WWE related knews. OMG~! Hulk Hogan is on T.V! If he's not with WWE in anyway it really should go ot General Wrestling, or MAYBE Television/Movies folder because it's a non-wrestling T.V. show.

At least it will benefit someone new as Eddie will finally be recognized as a main event player.

I just hope Eddie doesn't win when Goldberg spears Brock. Otherwise, Eddy and Benoit BOTH in WORLD Title matches on WM XX makes me go happy.

Raw drew a disappointing 3.7 rating last night, per Nielsen Media Research. As soon as we get the breakdown along with the weekend ratings, we'll post them.

- Eddie Guerrero is working despite a bad hamstring. He originally injured himself at the Smackdown taping last week and hurt it again at the Sunday house show. WWE is trying to take it easy with him.

- John Cena will be having an MRI done this week to check on the status of his knee. Cena has had pain in his knee since the Royal Rumble.

- The latest word of the Big Show's elbow injury is that he will be OK and won't miss any time.

3.7 is bad? WWE didn't in any way shape or form pimp/hype ANYTHING For Raw last week. I can imagine if they were like "OMG! HBK/Heat Killer Match! NEXT WEEK!"

If they don't get a good rating for Benoit/Flair next week, I think it is possible that HBK will take the #1 contender's spot away from him in a match.

Ugh..

-The Brock/Goldbeard angle at NWO isn't that surprising.

- A 3.7 rating is sorta disapointing considering the show was actually quite decent.

- I thought John Cena wasn't really hurt that bad from the Rumble incident?

- Big Show might be holding on to the US title longer if both he and Cena are hurt.

What is this US title that many people from this land speak of???

I'm assuming it's just in case. Better to be safe than sorry. WWE been pretty paranoid about injuries since Angle and Edge's neck injuries last year.

And in this case, WWE's paranoia towards injuries is actually a good thing.

Checking potential injuries to be safe = good.

Restricting every wrestlers creative freedom and ability to put on a match to the best of their ability = bad.

Heat continues to fall on Triple H backstage in WWE. Many wrestlers are pointing fingers at Triple H as the main guy to push for the new, slower, more restricted ring style that seems to favor him more than anyone else. Most were then furious that the Triple H/Shawn Michaels match at the Royal Rumble was allowed to break those restrictions and thus come off as the most exciting match of the night.

Many are also now suspecting that Triple H is trying to get out of getting pinned by Chris Benoit at WrestleMania XX. Triple H and Shawn Michaels lobbied shortly before the Royal Rumble to have a three way for the World Title at WrestleMania rather than the expected Benoit vs. Triple H match. Most feel that this will allow Benoit to pin Shawn Michaels and win the title, not Triple H.

I don't see why Benoit-Flair not getting a rating would lead to Michaels getting the spot. Michaels is yet to draw anything since Summerslam 02.

Drawing power is not a concern when you've got Clique Power™. None of this is surprising to me at all. I knew nothing good could come from HBK returning full time.

Is it really too much to ask for a one-on-one Title match? Unless it turns into a Three-Way Dance (elimination style) and Benoit is allowed to pin them both, I don't see how this is helping Benoit in any way.

The thread is not hurting anything despite the fact that its not policy (yet?) so I'm just going to let it stand.

WWE Title Match

Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg

Will Brock Lesnar allow anyone to get an run with the championship that isn't named Kurt Angle?

I'm sick and damn tired of watching Brock Lesnar walk around with that wwe championship belt.

Not really but I want Eddie Guerrero to win the championship.

Brock Lesnar always involved with that championship.

I think thats because the WWE has gotten so very focused on the 'Heel Champs draw better philosophy' that the belts stay on heels 75 % of the time. But then all the other heels on the roster spend their time getting over the potential contenders and have less value. So in the end, you end up with Brock being the only heel on SD! who wins consistantly with no one having any interest in the next biggest heels like Big Show and A-Train. Hopefully, turning Angle heel will add another point of focus.

This is another one of the pet peeves I have right now... When did it become sacred law that heel champs draw better? When has the WWE ever had a hot run with a heel champion? The only thing I can thing I can think of would be HHH in 2000, but even there, he was trading the title back and forth with The Rock.

Look, NWA historically ran with a heel champion (Flair), while WWE's best runs came with face champions (Hogan and Austin)... So, considering how things turned out for each of those companies, why exactly is it a good idea to have a heel champion again?
