Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 I didn't find a news link to post, I just saw it on the local news replay. Letterman was to have a female snowboarder on to do stunts, but one of her stunts went wrong, and she went ker-splat on the pavement and then was placed in critical condition.

Vern Gagne Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Reads like she'll be ok. That's good news.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Wow, someone besides Dave having health problems on the Late Show. There's a first...
Use Your Illusion Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 That wacky kkk! *Cue 80's sitcom music*
bob_barron Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 The one time I went to Letterman and they did crazy stunts- no one died. That would've been quite the sight to see.
dubq Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Yeah way to make it sound like the entire SHOW was cancelled and not just one night of taping..
Lando Griffin Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Too bad they won't show it. I'd love to see it. SPLAT!
Highland Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Is Letterman going to be sued? This is America you know....
bob_barron Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 The snowboarder seemed to be in good spirits and was joking around so I don't smell lawsuit. And I don't see how anyone could think the Late Show was cancelled. I wonder if they cancelled the taping of Friday's show as well. Interbridges says its TBA but CBS lists tonights guests as Hillary Swank
Guest Just Looking Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 I wonder if they cancelled the taping of Friday's show as well. Interbridges says its TBA but CBS lists tonights guests as Hillary Swank According to ESPN, if the woman is out of the hospital, the show will go on. If not, then it will not come on until Monday.
The Tino Standard Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Smart and classy move to stop the taping of the show after that injury. You'd think something like that would be automatic, but history has proven otherwise.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 I'm sure CBS had her sign a waiver beforehand thus negating any blame to them. She's pretty cute though
treble Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 I got a re-run the night before that, too, with George Clooney promoting 'Intolerable Cruelty', even though on the website it had a write-up of Bill Belicheck and Cindy Crawford. Anyone know what the deal with that was?
Guest OctoberBlood Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 ""The only thing I am upset about is that the French judge only gave me a 5.6," Dakides quipped from her hospital bed, according to her spokesman. " Good to see shes in good spirits.
Guest realsandman420 Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 any links to the video??????
treble Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 On last night's show they said that she would be on the show on Monday, when they would show the footage with her doing commentary.
Star Ocean 3 Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 The video was all over PTI and Around the Horn...
Guest OctoberBlood Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 PTI is god-awful. Anyone have a link to it online?
