Letterman Show Canceled Last Night

I didn't find a news link to post, I just saw it on the local news replay.

 

Letterman was to have a female snowboarder on to do stunts, but one of her stunts went wrong, and she went ker-splat on the pavement and then was placed in critical condition.

The snowboarder seemed to be in good spirits and was joking around so I don't smell lawsuit.

 

And I don't see how anyone could think the Late Show was cancelled.

 

I wonder if they cancelled the taping of Friday's show as well. Interbridges says its TBA but CBS lists tonights guests as Hillary Swank

According to ESPN, if the woman is out of the hospital, the show will go on. If not, then it will not come on until Monday.

Smart and classy move to stop the taping of the show after that injury. You'd think something like that would be automatic, but history has proven otherwise.

I'm sure CBS had her sign a waiver beforehand thus negating any blame to them. She's pretty cute though

I got a re-run the night before that, too, with George Clooney promoting 'Intolerable Cruelty', even though on the website it had a write-up of Bill Belicheck and Cindy Crawford. Anyone know what the deal with that was?
