1234-5678 Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I only have it on because Buckethead is there for some reason, lol.
Nevermortal Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 The Neverending Beyonce push continues! Sting, Vince Gill, Dave Matthews, and Pharrell Williams are doing The Beatles. Ugh.
razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Prince opening the show with Beyonce "Ms. I wish I was Tina Turner" Knowles was good. The Beatles cover band is different. Pharrell on drums, Sting bass, Dave Mattews guitar, country guy guitar.
1234-5678 Posted February 9, 2004 Author Report Posted February 9, 2004 Prince opening the show with Beyonce "Ms. I wish I was Tina Turner" Knowles was good. My hatred for her continues to grow............
razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Prince opening the show with Beyonce "Ms. I wish I was Tina Turner" Knowles was good. My hatred for her continues to grow............ My father would like to know why Beyonce is consider R&B.
Matt Young Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Fuck the Grammys. Some of the performances look to be pretty interesting, but the awards and the show as a whole are a complete sham. I'll continue watching the NFL Pro Bowl. You can't go wrong with football.
razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Maybe we should boycott the award show since it is the main source of income by the RIAA.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I only have it on because Buckethead is there for some reason, lol. He's there to support his friend Bootsy Collins (Parliament Funkadelic) who is up for a few awards. On the E! red carpet pre-show a few minutes ago Joan Rivers approached Bootsy: Joan: Bootsy, who's your friend? Buckethead: ..... Bootsy: He has a bit of a disability - he doesn't talk Joan: Who is he? Bootsy: He's in Guns N' Roses Joan: Well, enjoy yourself! Buckethead ..... Classic.
jimmy no nose Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I haven't watched the show much, but the reason Buckethead is there is because he was invited by bass legend Bootsy Collins who he has worked with many times. EDIT=too late I guess
Downhome Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I wish I cound understand how some people can say that Britney has more talent than Christina.
razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 P-Funk + Earth, Wind & Fire + Outkast + Buckethead = funky jam session.
Downhome Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 "From The Whole Ten Yards, Mathew Perry." I found that odd.
razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 I wish I cound understand how some people can say that Britney has more talent than Christina. It's like asking why people like cats more than dogs. It's purely opinion based.
1234-5678 Posted February 9, 2004 Author Report Posted February 9, 2004 At least they acknowledged Buckethead was in GNR. Good to hear GNR isn't regarded as completely dead.........yet, lol.

It's like asking why people like cats more than dogs. It's purely opinion based. No it isn't, if you know music and musical talent, you can perfectly say that one person has more talent than another, especially vocal wise. Saying that they prefer one talent over another, now that's opinion based.

Downhome Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 The music industry much like wrestling is not about talent its about who is marketable... Well of course, you can say that again.

razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Why is Aerosmith and BB King announcing the Rap awards?
razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Bahahahahahahaha Outkast won? And was at the bathroom?
Henry Spencer Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Steven Tyler makes some sense, since Walk This Way was a big part of making rap music mainstream accessable. But BB King?
Downhome Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Apparently they have WCW's old production crew on hand tonight.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Camera 6 - worst case scenerio
Guest Choken One Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 CELINE DION IS RUINING THIS BEAUTIFUL SONG! FUCK HER CANADIAN ASS!
5_moves_of_doom Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Wait... fuck, when is this on, and on what channel? I'm usually against these types of things, but Prince and this Beatles thing interest me, and maybe there'll be one or two surprise award-winners that will make me happy. Who's preforming, though?
Guest Choken One Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 pRINCE already did his thing... CBS is tha channel
DangerousDamon Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 ahhh. I hate Celine's voice. It's so french. OH man THAT is harsh. Ok. Her voice is very.........whiny. Yea that's the word.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Richard Marx should be singing this. Fuck her.
razazteca Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 CBS the oldie and fat guy sitcom channel.
5_moves_of_doom Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 pRINCE already did his thing... CBS is tha channel Is it on at the same time no matter what time zone you're in? Oh darn. I should look up some of the nominations and see if anything interests me... I think the Yeah Yeah Yeahs were nominated for something, and while I'm not a HUGE thing, that could always be a cool underdog moment... hell, seeing anyone who's not Justin Timberleke win something is always enjoyable.
