The Amazing Rando

The SWF Wants You~!

Recommended Posts

The SWF is looking for lovely people such as THE ENTIRE BOARD* to come on down and join in on the fun!

The SJL is closed and the SWF is looking to expand it's roster and expand the fun that those that are already a part of the Federation have kept up over the latest down cycle in new recruits.

Our new head booker, Alexander "Zed" Zenon, has taken the bull by the horns and is trying his damndest to make this fed better than it has ever been before. To help ensure that is the case, I am requesting, almost begging, almost offering sex**, for anyone that thinks the have the guts to take on some of wrestling writings finest...

Have a problem with how Goodear is doing his job? Come kick his country bumpkin ass in the SJL!

Think I'm not so Amazing? Come kick my ass too!

Take your agression and release it through your keyboard and right into championship GOLD!

For more information - contact the head booker himself --> realitycheck or maybe he will make his presence felt in this thread. Who knows?!

THANK YOU - and COME. ON. DOWN.

* - okay, so not the entire board...but we could use a few people, ya know.

** - sex given by TheBostonStrangler.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I can't stand the match-writing style E-feds.

And according to OAOAST history, you and Zorin are currently doing time for that drug smuggling operation after assaulting Gigi D'Agostino.

That was fun shit.

I find E-Federations to be the biggest waste of human time on the face of the planet.

I did it once when I was 13 and felt like there were few left on Earth that could be a bigger loser, so I gave it up straight away and did something constructive.

I joined up back in April, and now I'm the second highest champion in the fed and #1 contender for the world title. In some ways, I feel weird for being proud of that, but damn it, I am. Not only has the SWF introduced me to new people, but it steadily has increased my writing skills and my time management~. So, not only is it fun, it IMPROVES YOUR LIFE~...in some ways, I guess.

Thank you for that insight. I'm sure we're all a little better for having read that.

Anyways......yes I have had a lot of fun in OAOAST........(boo SWF)........it's fun to write the matches and come up with the angles. I also like to see if I can book better than the WWE........apparently I can.

Agreed. I also tried match-writing a few years ago, was doing okay at the start, and then after I realized that it was killing my schoolwork, got lazy with it even after school ended and hung on forever and pissed off several people along with myself losing sanity after being given and blowing too many chances. I have no desire to risk repeating that experience ever again... I am only grateful that the forum it was hosted on contained a link to TSM, which opposed to e-fedding is a much funner waste of time.

The OAOAST does sounds fun though.

It's called a hobby. If you really want to break it down, anything that doesn't pay money (with the possible exception of sex) is a waste of time.

Yeah, but there's no fun in it.

Your opposition writes ten pages of shit, therefore you have to sit down for hours just to counter-argue his/her points.

You could be out helping old ladies cross the street!

I could, but I hate old ladies.

I like wrestling and I like writing. Writing about wrestling = (Y)

Maybe not for you, but I have fun. It's basically a creative writing club (almost like an ongoing contest) with wrestling as the motif; we certainly put on better matches than anything the WWE is putting out right now.

And, as I said before, it's a hobby; some people like to play the guitar, some people skateboard. We... write.

That's not how it is in the OAOAST. SWF sure, but there you earn your respect/status by writing your best. It's a hobby that helps you become a better writer, interact with cool people, and pass some time. OAOAST is a lot more laid back (no competitive matchwriting, but more compromise, i.e. co-writing matches, talking out angles beforehand, covering for each other, no word limits, etc.). It's two very different takes on the e-fed scene, but I'd heartily recommend both. Hell I've got an SWF character all planned out for whenever I get a break in time to give it 100% effort. Those guys go balls out writing wise and deserve every compliment they get.

You know... Someday, I think the SWF should compile their collective stories together and bring out a book called: "SWF: The World Of Professional Wrestling".

Because you guys (SWFers) have and probably always will be the great writers that you guys are. And deserves some credit and all that for the cool matches you guys put on and that.
