But even if this was true, I'd like to see how it plays out. Because I believe Trips actually likes Edge, judging from some of the interviews I've read. Edge is homegrown too. I'd say he would have a pretty good chance at having a decent feud with HHH. That could be wishful thinking, though.

I mean first he wants Benoit over from Smackdown in order to crush him and make him look stupid and now he wants to do the same to Edge. Not only that but's he planning it before he's even back so he can destory any hope of Edge ever getting over.

Triple H has been giving every indication that he's not planning to be involved with Benoit after WrestleMania 20.

Well Raw will lose Goldberg so it'll be Triple H, Shawn, Benoit, Jericho, Kane, Austin, and RVD. Smackdown has Brock, Cena, Eddy, Angle, Edge, and presumably Undertaker (assuming he goes back to the Smackdown brand). Yeah, it's pretty imbalanced. Smackdown has turned into the armpit of the WWE.

Ahhh I see, Edge comes back from an injury and undeservingly gets thrust right into the main event scene, and really only so Triple H can rub out another young talent before he even gets an oppurtunity to shine.
