JN News 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 I just wanna ask y'all if I was the only one who laughed my ass off during The Rock's Smackdown interview before No Mercy 2000. Rock made fun of Kane, Benoit, and more importantly, Angle by making funny imatations of their characters. The Kurt Angle imatation made me laugh until I was out of breath, and I thought it was one of Rock's funniest interviews/promos, ever. So, what do you think? I have the video of it and love to break it out every now and then for a laugh, but when was it? I'm pretty damn sure it was No Mercy 2000, if my memory serves me correctly that was the event that Angle won the title at and it was the event he won the title at that the spliced up interview was on. Rock calms down and stays still without a word... in a different shirt nonetheless. Angle: That's better. There was a ton of other great stuff, too, that I can't think of right now. No, I don't remember the promo. -=Mike And Angle wasn't in that, it was Undertaker. No Mercy was just Rock vs. Angle where Angle won his first title. Is it one where Rocky does his impressions? He's a huge wrestling fan- he was sitting next to Vince Carter. Rock's promo in Toronto is one of my favourite promos ever right up with his promo before HIAC. Rock: I'm gonna get in my pickup truck, drink some Steveweisers and listen to some Backstreet Boys and that's the bottom line cause the Great One said so. Rock: I did it for the Rock.
