geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2004 After watching Torrie and Sable do the "you can't see me" hand signals it is official they are the two dorkiest people in the world. I don't know how it is possible for someone to lose all sex appeal in a matter of 10 seconds but they managed to accomplish the job. Congratulations ladies
Hektik 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2004 If you wouldn't have booked Angle to face Eddie, then what would you have done? HBK. I'd STILL rather have that feud. I understand from reading this thread that you want Angle to have the perfect feud but let me point one thing out Eddie Guerrero > Shawn Michaels He is a better wrestler than Shawn. Kurt Angle will have a much better match with Eddie Guerrero. A match between Angle and Shawn will be match to see who no sells each other the most. The match between Guerrero/Angle will be a better and will be on of the main events at Wrestlemania.

Congratulations ladies I didn't see Sable doing it, but Torrie did...over and over and over again, like she was trying to make sure everyone saw her doing it. Although desperately seeking attention goes hand-in-hand with her "character," and I'd imagine isn't too far off the mark from what she's really like. haVoc 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2004 Just out of curiosity, AS, how would you book the Eddie-Angle feud for WrestleMania? Angle definitively goes over Eddie every week until Mania when Eddie goes over clean. Oh My God. If it was the other way around you be screaming Angle's win would look weak because he was the "idiot" getting beat every week so his title win means less. Anyway, I hate this babyface gets arrested crap. I mean, they just did this lame bit with Bob Holly two months ago. Give Eddie and Angle something a little more original then this. I'd say beatng the heel that had your number for four weeks makes the win more important. Although, I'm sure beating a boob is just as good.

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2004 After viewing the tape... ...they heavily edited the Brock/Gunn match. Live, it had TWO reverse bear hugs. And The Sign Guy kept pretending he was changing the tv channel during the match. Also, the best part of Cena's routine was cut. He told Torrie and Sable to get out of the ring because they were breaking his concentration. He then talked about how with Eddie out of the building, he'd need a new partner. He then dialed "619" on a cell phone, only to get Rey's voice mail. He left a message pleading for Rey to come out to the ring, and then Rey finally appeared. I wish I could remember exactly what all he said, because it was pretty funny.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted February 28, 2004 I have the uncut segment which I downloaded from another forum. John Cena called Big Show 'Jabba the Hut' and the Chavos 'the two lost members of Menudo'. He also led the crowd in chanting 'Free Eddie Guerrero' and '6-1-9'. The only reason I can think of for the bulk of his segment being cut was that it went on too long. The edit on TV was really choppy. If anything, Torrie and Sable took a lot of edge off of Cena's character this week. If anyone can make Cena's taunts look uncool, it's Torrie. I wasn't sure if she was mocking him or not. Her look of 'shocked flattery' is so awful it's funny. Also, what is Cena doing admitting that he whacked off to them so many times he went through 30 mags? He should be demanding that the two give him a table dance or something. Also, I wouldn't doubt that Brock selling for Gunn, and in turn Gunn no-selling Brock, was in response to complaints about Brock buying a plane. Infantile, yes, but this is the WWE locker room we're talking about. Longer TV matches are a good thing, but only in certain scenarios. It's simply not appropriate when one guy has a huge match at a flagship PPV in 2 weeks and the other is a little-talent, not-over nobody.

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2004 Who? CM Punk is an indy wrestler who portrays himself as a "Straight Edge". Kinda of like Angle, except it is a way of life (and who CM Punk really seems to be). From the way this is playing up, it seems like Angle is ripping off of CM Punk's indy feuds with Raven as CM Punk always hounds on Raven's past (his drinking, drugs, yadda, yadda). Hence why people are calling it a rip off.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 28, 2004 Oh COME ON. People get REALLY desperate to find ways that the WWE is supposedly "ripping off" the Indies. It's not like this "CW Punk" came up with such a complex storyline that no one else could have thought of it. Hell, how many movies have had the villain of the hero torment the hero by reminding him of his shady past?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 28, 2004 Quite frankly, I don't think Eddie and Kurt should *touch* at all leading up to Mania. I think Kurt should kill all of Eddies friends My original idea had Kurt DESTROY Rey for interfering in Kurt's business. I like that idea because it adds to the CW match as well...Since Rey would then likely have to do the "COMEBACK" deal to win back his title. chavo can assist Angle (Knocking out the incoming help)... I'm just saying that's what these others are saying. *shrugs* You asked, I supplied an answer. And I could name quite a few of those movies as well. I could probably name the books that were made by long ago before movies as well.
